Spring is officially here! It has been mid 80’s on the coast all week so I actually feel like I should say summer is officially here! It’s so warm for this time of year and all of this sun is inspiring a re-fresh of my outdoor spaces. Kicking things off with the porch! Just like the Easter table I recently shared I kept things neutral with browns and greens. Feels like spring!
I added my pretty camellia trees next to the faux olive trees and absolutely love the combo together. They look so real! I’m so impressed with and excited about both of these faux plants! They look a lot more expensive than they actually were.
Part of what gives the illusion of real plants is using large planters. These rattan planter baskets are so beautiful! I actually bought them around Christmas and have been so excited to use them. I filled them with some spanish moss and they just elevated the entire porch.
The best part is that they light up at night! You can set a timer and they twinkle. Just a touch of evening magic! I’m a fan. There is a whole collection that goes with them of other fun Easter items. I love just a touch of Easter with the bunnies!
I also adore this striped rug! It’s hard to tell in this pic but it has tans in it too and is a beautiful outdoor option. I had a few other rugs I was looking at and decided I would order this rug first and return it and try the others if I didn’t like it. I was so pleased when it arrived and was even better than expected!
*Funny side story..this rug was another choice and I had to laugh when I googled green and white plaid rug and this image popped up! Well now I know what it looks like on my porch! This happens all the time where I see my pictures being used in crazy ways on the internet! It can be a little maddening (and is totally illegal!) but this time it just made me laugh because I was looking for a rug for my porch! And there was the rug.. on my porch. Ha ha. Also thank you SO MUCH to everyone who points things like this out to me! I get so many sweet emails an IG DM’s from all of you saying “wanted to let you know that someone is using your picture here..” It always means a lot that you are looking out for me!
I also ordered this cute floral door mat to go over the green rug but it’s taking its sweet time getting here! I’ll share it as soon as it comes. If I don’t like it layered over the striped rug I’ll set it in front of one of my side porch doors.
I hope you had a nice weekend and a good start to your week! We were home all weekend because Kenny had shoulder surgery. A minor surgery but we cleared the calendar for it and it was actually so nice! It’s rare that the two of us have a weekend with nothing going on and we loved having some down time together. While my patient napped I also got a few organizing projects done that I’ve been wanting to finish (win!). I took some quick phone pics of my Easter table to share too! I usually set it up on the table in our formal dining room but that table was covered in pantry items so I set it up in our dining nook. (Lots of organizing going on around here!)
It’s so simple but I love it! I also love this neutral table runner because it will work with any and all colors. The white in it feels light and bright for spring!
I found these cute bunny plates on Amazon for a great price and they are adorable! You get a pink, green, blue and purple in each set. A friend of mine came over and saw them and immediately ordered some too.
Then I added these fun napkins and napkin rings because I love this shade of green. Also talk about adorable.. the bunny napkin rings! I believe they are on sale at the moment too and will go quickly!
The vase is a long time favorite and I especially love these faux peonies! This is just one pack of 6 and they are so pretty. Add a couple of bunnies and we are all set for Easter! I love setting a spring table like this and just leaving it up for a month. It forces us to use the nice dishes and not just save them for special occasions. Makes every day feel like a party. I can get on board with that. :)
These flower napkin rings are also so sweet for spring.
In other news, I swung by Serena and Lily today to check out a rug I found on-line and have been debating for my family room. While I have loved our family room rug so much it has seen better days. Lots of wear and tear and I’m ready for something new!
Let’s just say I stayed a big longer than I planned! Beautiful.
They are having their spring design event through Wednesday (20-25% off everything!) so I knew if I was going to get this rug I needed to make a decision quickly. I have been looking at lots of options on-line for a while and was leaning towards this but wanted to see it in person. So happy because I liked it even more! It has the same neutral look as my PB wool/jute rug but even softer to walk on. It’s gorgeous!
I’m seriously thinking about ordering this round seagrass vase before the sale ends. Do I need another vase? No. Has that ever stopped me before? No again. :)
Happy Sunday! Two things to kick off our week! For starters I turned 49 last week! Wow.. how quickly the last year in my 40’s snuck up! So grateful for another beautiful year. I’m also grateful that Addison’s college Spring Break always lines up with my birthday week so I get the whole family together to celebrate! Second thing – I’m mixing up my weekend posts and switching from Saturday 6 and the Sunday Edit to one blog post that will go out on Sunday called Sunday 6. It will include my 6 things and then the weekly round-ups all in one post! My goal is to get another post or two up each week and to keep the six things I’m sharing on Sunday a little shorter. Saturday 6 was always supposed to just be 6 quick pictures of favorites I’m loving but I’m so long winded it turned into a weekly novel with all the things going on around here. Ha! Let’s see if I can be more concise and pop in more often! Change is always a good thing right? If this change isn’t we’ll change it again. Even at 49 years old I’m tricky like that. :)
Love my friends! We had a quick lunch to celebrate with whoever could make it. I also love that I’ve had enough birthday lunches and get togethers and holiday parties with everyone that my friends are all friends with each other now too. Some of them already were but now they all are. :)
Moving on to 6 things I’m loving because I’m keeping this post short right!? I love this smocked top so much! I wasn’t sure how it fit so I ordered it in 3 colors and 3 sizes and laughed because I want to keep them all as is! I got the white in my size but petite and it’s darling as more of a cropped top. It barely touches the top of my really high waisted jeans. I ordered the blue in xs regular and it fits perfect too.. short but not as cropped so I would say this top is true to size. I ordered the navy in small (one size up) and the sleeves and length are just a little longer so it works as more of a full length top. I’m wearing the navy in the family pic above.
5 of us wore white tops to lunch so we had to get a pic! Must be spring. :) The white top I’m wearing is a different smocked top I’m also loving! I have it in green too. It’s Madewell but you can also buy it at Nordstrom. My jeans are also a newer favorite.. I got them in my regular size but petite for length. Two of my friends had on this puff sleeved top from Amazon and it looks EXACTLY like one from Anthro. Comes in lots of cute colors too! We’re all buying it!Â
I will have to share all the cute gifts my friends spoiled me with at some point but in the spirit of keeping things shorter (see.. I’m trying!) I’ll just share a couple of personalized gifts that I loved! One was this cute cosmetic bag. I thought it was from a local boutique or something but nope.. Amazon for the win again! I love that it has my birth year on it and it’s so cute and colorful. A thoughtful and unique personalized gift that I will absolutely use to hold make-up and all sorts of things. I had to share that little gem of an idea! (Also the cute green purse above is from Anthro. Anyone who knows me at all knows that something green or from Anthro is another easy win!)Â
Another cute personalized gift idea! I love blow pop suckers and eat one almost every night. Popcorn and a sucker is my usual movie night treat and a few of my friends discovered this a couple of years and thought it was so funny. When I opened this it just made me laugh! My friend who gave me this gave me another fun “real” gift with it, but guess which gift meant the most and I’ll always remember? It reminded me that personalized gifts are special and they don’t need to be expensive or elaborate. They remind you of a connection and make you feel seen and understood and loved. All that from a bag of blow pop suckers. Where’s the watermelon or strawberry? They are my favorite. :)
This tray is so beautiful! Pricey and not very large (and this is the large size) but it’s so pretty and I love the bamboo handles! I keep moving it around my house and trying it in new spots.
I started decorating my porch for spring and will share it soon! I pulled out this long time favorite porch rug and still love it as much as I did when I first discovered it years ago! It’s so beautiful and a perfect neutral base for layering other fun rugs and door mats on top each season.
I’m always mixing up the faux trees on my porch and have ordered many faux trees from Amazon. I’ve returned my fair share too! This tree is honestly one of the best I’ve seen. I’m so happy with it! Incredibly realistic and exactly what I was looking for. I quickly ordered one more for my porch and am debating ordering a third to put inside my house because I like it even more than a few I have inside. This is the 7 foot!
I’ve had this pill organizer for a while in the color green but after organizing my bathroom drawers so pretty I wanted something more asthetic that didn’t show my supplements through it! Loving this. I must be 49 if I’m talking about pretty pill organizers. Ha! Leaning in and not looking back. ;)
Have the best start to your week and enjoy the cute spring decor and favorite round-ups below!
Happy Sunday! Saturday was a doors open kind of day and I felt so productive! The girls are home so it was a great mix of some down time with them (we went on a walk and got our nails done) and then they did some homework and laid out by the pool while I finished some organizing. Kenny and I dropped off a few bags of things to donate too. 2026 is the year of less around here and I am working so hard to simplify and donate items we just aren’t using anymore. Always feels so good right!? I’m sharing a few things I’m loving lately, Easter basket ideas, spring stems, coffee table books, and your favorites from last week! I hope you are having a good weekend and survive the time change! Hard to lose that hour but YEA for longer light filled evenings!
Happy Saturday! I hope you had a good week! This is a quick screenshot from a video I filmed because I forgot to take a picture when I was making this lemon arrangement for the weekend.. ha! If you need a pick me up lemons always do the trick! So do hydrangeas. The two combined are even better. :)
Addison just got here for part of her spring break and El is sleeping over while she’s here.. I’m so excited for a few days with my girls! I wanted something happy in the kitchen while they are home and this vase of lemons and hydrangeas did the trick. I’ve had this pretty marble bowl out again for spring. It’s such a favorite! It was a gift from Kenny a couple of years ago that I might have mentioned I wanted a time or ten. Sometimes he needs a little direction and I’m always happy to give it to him. :)
I also styled this fun arrangement in a scalloped tray next to some bunny plates I ordered for spring and Easter. Also cute! Lemons, hydrangeas, rattan and scallop trim – 4 of my favorite things. I can’t decide which way I like this set up better (scalloped tray or marble bowl) so things will be on rotation around here!
I’ve had so much fun pulling out things for spring and Easter! This rattan bunny tray is another recent favorite. TOO CUTE. I tied a pink bow to add a little something but might switch to a pastel green because I have more green in my kitchen. Regardless it’s an easy way to add some Easter charm!
The bunny trays come as a set of two. I’m using the smaller tray for decor behind my cooktop and I’ll use the larger bunny tray for entertaining. So cute holding these plates and the spring utensil caddy! (Plates are the sweetest and remind me of reading Peter Rabbit books growing up!) This would also be cute holding lots of small bowls full of Easter candy. There are so many fun ways to use these trays!
Favorite neutral spring shoes on repeat! I ordered so many to try and these are my top pics! They all passed the test for looking good and feeling good. 10/10!
I’m still debating which pair to keep out of these two options and want both! They are such cute espadrilles with just enough of a heel to give a little height but still SO comfortable to walk in!
Another cute flat option! These are on the narrow side which I love because I have narrow feet, but I wanted to mention that if you don’t! They are also very comfortable and so cute for spring!
I bought these Lucia Mary Janes a few months ago and they are unbelievably comfortable! They come in so many fun color options and have a cute side buckle. I have Taupe Suede and they go with everything. Do the other sandals look familiar? The new version of the slides I buy every summer. Always soft and comfortable and easy to slip on and go when it’s sunny outside!
Really you can’t go wrong with any of these fun shoes for spring! My friends all see the shoes in my closet and tell me I need more color, but I’m a neutral shoe girl at heart. :)
My cute topiary trees came in and they are so realistic! I’m very happy with them and excited to use them outside. Still playing around with a few things on my spring porch and I don’t know where these will land, but I will definitely be using them somewhere. I love real plants but could never go back to real on my porch! They just don’t last with all of the shade and it’s so nice that everything stays alive and looking great through summer travel.
Closet progress is slow but coming along. I only have time to work on it here and there but it’s ok! I’m focusing more on really going through everything vs. quickly finishing which is what I did last time and the reason I just have too many clothes in this space that I’m not wearing! I went through my jeans and this is what I’m keeping!
The pant hangers are a DREAM. How have I not had these in my life all along!? Not only do they look amazing, but they make it so easy to take pants off and put them on! The jeans stay in place on the hanger but GLIDE when you slide them off. Plus they take up so much less space! I’m a fan. I’m also using these dividers for my jeans and know they will help me get ready quickly and keep things organized.
I’m using my long time favorite label maker to add labels to the dividers separating cropped and regular length jeans and also my cropped and regular length colored pants. I usually decide on what pants I’m wearing first when I get dressed! That always determines my shoes and top. If they are cropped and high waisted pants I’m wearing different shoes/top than if I’m wearing full length jeans that aren’t as high waisted. It’s more complicated with so many options these days right!? Ha! I usually get my cropped jeans mixed in with full length and then spend too long searching for a certain pair when I’m getting dressed. Very excited about my new system. :)
My all time favorite summer hat is on major sale this weekend! I’ve never seen it marked down this low and I’m seriously tempted to order another one in case anything happens to this because I’ve had it for years and wear it so much! It really keeps the sun off your face and has a flattering shape for a large hat like this. It’s lightweight and easy to pack too. I’ve tried so many similar straw hats and this is hands down my favorite and most worn. Happy some of you will get it for so much less than I paid!
Happy March! Sharing favorites I’ve been rounding up and sharing over the past couple of weeks on IG! Everything you’re loving and new things on-line that I’m loving. There are so many cute things coming out for Easter! And spring clothes and decor. It was 86 degrees here on Saturday and the sun is so motivating isn’t it!? I wanted to spring clean EVERYTHING. So I organized another section of my closet.. ha. Not quite everything but progress. YEA March! Bring on the sun and enjoy your week!
Happy Saturday! Sharing some randomness around here to wrap up February! I have to say that despite our sunny weather the past two months, January and February have felt like a bit of a slog. They just tend to be harder months right!? Also I’ve been going through some lovely hormonal changes this year (I’m sure many of you around the same age can relate!) and I just haven’t felt like myself. I have to say that I’m not mad at all about March rolling around. Bring on spring and better days ahead!
I’m feeling especially ready for spring after looking at fabric for new outdoor cushions this week! We’ve had our outdoor furniture for 13 years now (since we built our house!). The furniture is from Restoration Hardware and has held up great, but the cushions have seen better days. Lots of wear and tear and some cushions have holes from mice burrowing in them – YIKES. Time to replace them!
I looked at so many fabric options and narrowed it down to these two. Going lighter than what I chose last time! I looked at the samples in the yard during different times of the day to see how the lighting changed them.
I snapped this right before the sunset one evening. I went with the color CHALK on the left. It’s a pretty neutral that has some grey tones in it that I think will work well with the furniture and our yard.
It will take a couple of months to get the new cushions in so until then I’m dreaming about a new outdoor rug for my entertaining area and of course a cute new pillow or two. Below are some of my favorite outdoor rug options if you’re looking too!
Quick dressing room selfie and I’m looking a little cross eyed.. (ha) but how cute are these sweats!? I tried them on and love them but they are a little pricey so I didn’t bring them home. Now I’m having regrets! Such a cute and comfortable set.
It’s the same shape as my beloved coach bag and I have loved this size/style. It’s just big enough to fit everything I like to tote around! Below are a few other cute new things I saw that I’m debating for spring!
A fun recent order! These towels are on repeat at my house. The large size and hand towels are in every bathroom in my house. I’ve found it’s easiest to just keep everything white and the same and when they start to look bad they are affordable enough to donate and buy more.
Ok.. speaking of things I’m loving this time of year. This glow serum is so good! I’ve been mixing a little of this bronze with my Sheer Renewal Cream each morning and it gives me such a sun-kissed glow! Friends have told me my skin looks good and this is my recent secret. :) If you use the code ERIN20 at check out you can get 20% off this serum or any other CR produts! Let me know if you try it and love it too!
I just got more of the Radiant Cleansing Balm in the mail too. Such a good cleanser! You can find it on the CR website under Best Sellers.
4 – ORGANIZATION ATTEMPTS/CLOSET TIPS
I mentioned above not feeling like myself lately. I am having such a hard time finishing projects! Brain fog is at an all time high! I completely emptied my whole pantry and scrubbed every shelf. Then I put some of the food back and got busy with other things and still haven’t put it back together.. ha! Instead of finishing it Thursday when I had some time..
I did a deep dive into my closet because it was driving me crazy and started pulling it apart and doing a massive clean out. SIGH. I’m so sorry. I have nothing fun to share that’s actually finished. Just lots of messes and half way done projects. I’m making myself finish both this weekend! I have a lot of fun decorating going on too but it’s all just half way done. March is the month that I get my act back together. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. :)
I know I just cleaned out my closet last year but while it has stayed mostly clean, it feels majorly overstuffed. I’m just so over having clothes hanging in my closet that I never wear! I don’t think I really donated enough last year. So I started again this week one section at a time. Here is the BEFORE of my dresses (look at the hangers so closely together!).
And the AFTER. My dresses can breathe! And so can I.
Pausing on buying another green dress this spring. ;)
Donation pile. Feels so good to only keep the dresses I really love and wear!
Tips I’ve learned from closet organization. I feel like last year I did a good 80% job, but this year I’m being ruthless and REALLY cleaning things out. To be continued. When I get my act together. In March.
The rest of this post is a major picture dump wrapping up the month! Lots of fun things in February despite my emotional roller coasters and brain fog. ;) I took this fun tray to a Super Bowl party. Very last minute but it felt like a party with my pepperoni and cheese football. A Super Bowl staple for me!
So is my “I just hope both teams have fun” tee.
Super Bowl squares made the game so much more fun. Kenny and I won the jackpot at the end! I think we walked away with $20 after what we donated but you would have thought it was a million from our excitement.. ha. Definitely playing that more during games next fall.
Lots of travel going on so far this year. Kenny has been going non stop for work and then the last two weekends we were traveling together. He teases me about my suitcase cover but my suitcase looks so clean and new! Tease away! I’m the one winning this game. ;)
We spent Valentine’s Day in Palm Springs and it was so nice to have some time together after he was gone so much in January. This cute cover-up was perfect for the pool and will be on repeat this summer with my favorite mesh bag. It’s so easy to fold and pack!
This favorite bikini top and hat are both on sale! I snapped this to send a friend who asked how I was doing. Sitting poolside eating my Skinny Pop while my friend was doing a water workout class. Ha. I told her I’d sit this one out and supervise.
Despite my hormonal ups and downs the past two months I’ve been proud of myself for sticking to my treadmill goal! It’s not a crazy workout. I’m not doing anything that fascinating. But I’ve been consistent with it and I feel stronger.
I’ve also been consistent with my turkey sandwich eating. Some things never change.
And I’m always grateful for time alone with him. It was a perfect weekend!
The next weekend we were on the go again heading to Texas!
Sidenote: the San Diego airpot has been getting a major makeover and I’m loving it! Everything is so beautiful and clean! Kenny was waiting for me and meanwhile I’m out of the bathroom and just taking some time to admire the tile. :)
We got to spend the whole weekend with this one! On the agenda was a mother/daughter sorority get together. I loved meeting so many of her cute friends and their moms!
Then Kenny, Ad and I enjoyed some time on her campus and eating out at her favorite spots.
We got to see her sing and perform again too. We packed a lot in one weekend!
I’ll never get used to saying good-bye to my kids and not bringing them back home with me! We snapped this right before a few tears were shed. But we’re all proud of ourselves for recovering quicker each time and her spring break is right around the corner! Always a silver lining.
Valentine’s Day is over so it’s officially spring right!? Maybe not quite but I’m there in my head! We spent last weekend in Palm Springs and it was so sunny and beautiful! Came home to rain but I’m holding on to that sunshine and pulling out all of my spring decor!
Below are some long time spring favorites I’ll be using again this year! Of course my acrylic vases. We are currently planning another wedding shower for my friend’s daughter and have used these so much for similar parties in the past!
These cute bunny baskets are back in stock and I wanted to share them early because they sold out quickly last year! I think they are such a perfect size for little kids, teen Easter baskets or spring gifts for friends!
Last year I added these fun items to the bunny baskets for my college girls!
I also created a variety of cute cards you can download to add to gifts! Easter, Mother’s Day, Birthday, Spring and Thank you cards. You can download them all HERE.
These book vases are another fun spring addition! I especially love using them in our guest bedroom and my girls’ rooms. They look beautiful with real or faux tulips.
This large cream vase I bought last year is back in stock! It quickly became a favorite because of the color and size and shape (love that it’s narrow at the top!)
I’m also excited to get my Easter table set up! I like to set it up early and then we can use it a few times and when friends come over before Easter. Plus it’s just fun to see the bunnies out for a couple of months!
So many spring favorites! I have some fun things planned for this spring but had to share these long time favorites first since they will be popping up again in my home. Bring on the sun and flowers and bunnies!
Happy Valentine’s Day weekend! I hope you are having a good one this year and spending time with people you love! I had a bit of a crazy/not great week to be honest and have been so grateful for this long weekend and some time with Kenny and good friends to recover. We have been enjoying some sun too which always feels glorious this time of year! Next week we are supposed to get a lot of rain which always makes me in the mood to organize so I’m planning on wrapping up some spaces I’ve been working on and overall just having a better week! Right now everything in my house is half finished and a bigger mess than what I started with.. ha. Good times. I’m also planning to re-fresh a few rooms in my house this year so I have been especially excited about the President’s Day sales this weekend! There are always so many good home finds marked down! I rounded up some things I’m loving on sale and a few of your favorites from last week below. Sending love and a Valentine’s day hug to you all!
Ok.. I have a GOOD recipe for you today! In true Erin fashion it’s pretty simple and involves tossing everything in a crockpot. :) I can’t remember where I landed on this Crockpot Chicken Chili but I made it and thought it was so good and even better.. my boys thought it was SO GOOD. This is all you need:
– 2 to 3 chicken breasts
– 1 can of black beans
– 1 can of corn
– I can of rotel
– 1 packet of ranch seasoning
– 1 block of cream cheese
– onion powder, ground cumin and chili powder (season with a few shakes of each!)
I usually add 4 chicken breasts and double everything just so that it feeds my boys for a while!
*Toss everything in the crockpot (it will look gross.. ha) and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. At some point after the chicken is done take the chicken out and use this chicken shredder to shred it. Or you can shred it without, but trust me this thing is GOLD and will do it so fast and smooth! Put the chicken back in and stir everything together and you are ready to eat! Add some chips or cheese or any toppings you want.
A delicious way to get your protein!
3 – PODCAST EPISODE
Since this is the month of all things LOVE I had to share this podcast episode! I love so many of Mel’s podcast episodes but this one was especially good. Such great advice to help with any and all relationships. I had lunch with a few friends and we had all listened to it and talked about it the entire lunch! So many good tips and insights. If you’re driving or cleaning and want something to listen to this is a good one!
Valentine’s Day pretzel hugs are always a fun treat for friends and neighbors too! Make an extra batch for you to snack on because you ate your healthy protein crockpot meal and deserve a snack. :)
I snapped this pic after I cleaned my fridge out a couple of weeks ago. Just like my bathroom drawers I did a major deep clean and took everything out and scrubbed all the shelves. Felt so good! I have kept it clean since and it makes me happy every time I open it. Sharing some of my favorite fridge organizers again. These have been my go-to’s for a while now!
I try to prep some healthy snacks every time I get groceries (usually twice a week with just the 3 of us) and love these because I can grab a tray and take it when I’m on the go.
If you often have this kind of situation going on at your house too you need the pizza organizer. :)
6 – MEN’S V-DAY GIFT IDEAS
If you need a few Valentine’s Day gift ideas for the men in your life here are a few fun ideas..
Kenny loves these soft Vuori tees! The stitching on the pocket is new this year. They are so comfortable and fitted but not tight.. a go-to gift for me. (Really he loves anything Vuori!)
Well friends.. it’s that time. Busted out the handheld vacuum in the bathroom once again! I literally dumped EVERYTHING out of every drawer and cupboard onto the floor. This yearly bathroom clean out is always a pain but it feels amazing when it’s done! Honestly my bathroom drawers weren’t that chaotic to begin with.. they were just overstuffed with too many products. I really focused on simplifying and only keeping what I really use and love! Here are the afters! (cue the angels..)
I’m still keeping things organized basically the same but it feels so good to have my organizers washed out and clean! I’ve had these for years but also bought a set from Amazon for my travel items (pics below) and I like them better than this set from the Container Store because they have grips on the bottom that keep them in place! They are linked above. I always have to put a little putty on my organizers to keep them from moving.
I wanted to share this eyeshadow palate because I’ve been loving the colors! I gave it to my girls for Christmas too. A good mix of every day and colors with some shimmer for going out.
Still loving these so much that I made them part of my morning routine! I wear them while I’m taking Kole to school and then come back to get ready for the day with my eyes looking much better than they did before drop off.
I took a before pic of my neck and will take an after in 6 weeks to report back on if this is working! I’ve heard such good things about it. I purposely put it in this drawer so I would remember to put it on every day.
Keeping my skin towels out on the counter so they are easy to use every night! I love my routine of washing my face and then cleaning off the bathroom counter with them.
I’ve been mixing a little bit of this glow serum with my foundation in the morning and love it! It’s not as dark as a tanner, but gives your face a glowy I’ve been on vacation in the sun look. Who doesn’t want that in the winter!?
I gave this to a few friends for Christmas! My favorite setting spray. It keeps your makeup on and looking fresh instead of wilting 3 hours later like mine always does when I forget to put it on!
Loving these drawer dividers! They come in different heights and I ordered the tallest (6″) for this deep drawer. I organized these items by hair (far left), random and then items for my face on the right. It just helps me grab things quick! I usually keep some of my hair items below my sink but I find that when I put things there I totally forget about them! So I moved as many things as I could up in this drawer because I’m in and out of it every day.
Just started using this! It was such a hit at two favorite things parties I went to! I will report back if I love it, but I have a feeling I will since so many of my friends do.
Seriously there is nothing like an organized bathroom drawer right!?
More extras. You can tell I haven’t put the putty in this drawer yet to hold them in place! Organizers slid to the top when I opened it. Also do you think I have enough Olaplex shampoo and conditioner!? Ha ha.. this is what happens when my cupboards aren’t organized! I can’t tell what I have and need! Definitely done buying Olaplex for a while.
Over to my vanity! I am lucky to have a lot of drawer space in this bathroom so I have room for travel items too. These are the Amazon organizers that stay in place and I’m thinking of swapping everything out for these!
This is what my built in hair tool drawer actually always looks like! It’s messy.. I never wrap up all the cords! I also never put my blow dryer in the circle cut out for it because I like to keep the attachment on. I only keep my curling iron, blow dryer, and straight iron that I always use in this space. No extras because I’m trying to simplify!
I’m taking down this jewelry pin board and want to make some changes in my bathroom this year! The cupboards need to be painted and the mirrors have some issues and need to be replaced. Good excuse to mix things up a bit. :) More on that when I get around to it! For now I’m just so happy to have all of my drawers and cupboards clean. I feel more on top of life when my bathroom drawers are organized because I start my day using them! It makes a difference right!?
Happy Sunday.. I hope you had a good week! I’ve been organizing all the things and will share progress soon but had to pop in quick to show you this cute Valentine’s table idea!
They were so easy to tie on these candle holders I already had out from Christmas. Such a simple touch that made the candles look so pretty and elevated! Perfect for a tablescape or just for decor throughout the house.
I’ll take a better picture soon of this cute bow garland I also love and hung in my kitchen window and over my stove. We’re ready for February over here!
This cute heart filler would be fun in a clear vase too!
I sprinkled some Hershey Kisses throughout to see how that looked. So cute and then your party/dinner guests can take home a treat after. :) I’m going to use these candles around the house to decorate but wanted to share this table idea for anyone hosting a party or special lunch/dinner this month! Below are weekly favorites, clothes I’ve got my eye on and so many cute Valentine’s Day gift ideas! Happy February!
