Happy Sunday! LOVE today’s round-up! I found so many cute Mother’s Day gift ideas! Which is really just a round up of things I would love.. ha. I also shared some cute things for summer! We are having such a cloudy, cold weekend so it’s not very summer like here at the moment. I’m making taco soup which is giving fall vibes! Hoping we get our sun back this week. :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Saturday 6
Happy Saturday and happy May! I hope you had a good week! It’s so nice having more light in the evenings isn’t it!? Kenny and I love having time for a walk on the trail before dinner. It has been so beautiful and sunny lately! I’m dreading our “May Gray” and “June Gloom.” Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as it has been some years. Sunshine puts me in such a good mood! It just doesn’t feel right to kick off summer without it. Lots of recent favorites to share this week so on to our 6 on Saturday!
1 – PICNIC TIME
Speaking of sunshine and summer! Anyone up for a picnic? :) I couldn’t resist ordering this cute picnic basket and blanket! There is nothing like throwing down a blanket and eating outside in the summer right? Whether it’s at the beach, in the mountains, at a park or in your own back yard. Always a good thing! This blanket is thick and such a nice size. Perfect to keep in the back of the car so you always have it ready for an impromptu stop.
This whole collection of matching plates and napkins is TOO CUTE. I also couldn’t resist this cute woven caddy even though I already have several. I use them so much this time of year for entertaining and eating outside!
The inside of the basket matches it all too! And now you see why I had to order it. ;)
2 – MOM GIFT IDEAS
3 – BEACH BAGS
I also ordered this mesh bag organizer for the inside. Give me all the pockets! I geek out over stuff like this. :)
4 – COVER-UPS
This bikini and coverup skirt are long time favorites and will be on repeat again this summer!
5 – ORGANIZED JEWELRY/BOWS
Thought I would share how my jewelry has been organized for a while now! I’ve been using these accessory trays in my vanity drawers and it’s working so well!
I found these cute bow trays during the holidays (gave a few of them as gifts!) and love them to hold jewelry I’m wearing often.
I have one on the right and one on the left. I used to have all of my jewelry out on my vanity counter but it always added to our every day bathroom clutter and just made things feel more messy to me so I’m loving it all organized inside these drawers.
6 – FUN GIFT/CODE
Ending today’s Saturday 6 with a code for you for Mother’s Day! You can get 20% off any products at Colleen Rothschild using the code ERIN20 at checkout! I’ve shared my favorites so many times and they are all linked HERE. In the last post when I shared them I mentioned the Illuminating Eye Cream. Let me know if you tried it and love it too! It’s so good for dark circles and tired eyes! The hair mask makes a perfect gift and I also love the complete eye cream. I put it on every night and I use the Sheer Renewal Cream in the am before makeup.
The hair mask is the pink jar. I use it once a week and it makes my hair look so silky smooth and healthy! Always a good thing.
So is the weekend! And sharing favorites and life with all of you. :)
April Best Sellers
Happy May! I can’t believe we are here. Does anyone else feel like they JUST got Christmas put away? Maybe just me since it took me until mid February to finish. Ha. Time for all things SUMMER. I’m sharing your April favorites today! These are the items you bought/loved the most last month. These faux tulips are definitely a favorite around here so no surprise on this one. :)
This set up makes me happy every time I walk through this door. I’m surprised the flower holder is still in stock!
These white flowers have been a favorite every month since I started sharing them! We clearly all love a good faux flower outside that is realistic looking and zero maintenance.
I have them sprinkled in several places on my spring porch! Love these camellia trees too.
I heard from so many of you that you are excited to try these.. let me know what you think and if you love them too!
Nothing like a good hair brush for blow drying. I’ve used and loved this brush for years and don’t know why I didn’t think to share it before this month. I’m happy so many of you are enjoying it too!
I’m also happy so many of you are trying these clear bags for swim suits! I hope this system works for you as well as it has for me this past year.
Hello singing angels. Happy you could join us to kick off summer. :)
Another favorite I’m happy you all love! This is a new find for me and I’m excited to take it on our next trip.
It was perfect to hold all of my jewelry and made it so easy to find what I needed quickly.
Outdoor Patio Set / Coat Rack Towel Holder
I have had this outdoor set for years and I’m so happy it’s back in stock and you’re loving it! This is an older picture.. I’m currently looking for a new rug for this space. I would definitely recommend this set if you need new outdoor furniture. It looks like Serena & Lily without the S & L price tag and has held up great!
A view from the back. And a view of the swan because clearly I’m obsessed with it.
{Muscle Tee, Anessa High Waist Jeans, Rag & Bone Sneakers, Butterfly Necklace/
My Anessa high waist jeans hit the best seller list again! Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever worn a pair of jeans so much in my life. I really need to mix it up more often but they just work with EVERYTHING.
This cute white top and my raffia sandals also made the favorites list for April! I bought these sandals last year and they came out with them again in different colors/shades. So cute for summer! I’m debating ordering a second pair because just like my jeans they are on repeat this time of year.
You loved the
too! I’m so happy they are back in stock at Nordstrom with lots of different color options to choose from. I have 3 slightly different pairs of this same shoe I love them so much.
And last but not least was my bikini top! A popular item in March and still hitting your favorites list for April too. I’d say it’s time to bust it out again. Who wants to meet me at the beach!?
May we are ready for you! :)
Sunday Edit
Happy Sunday! Ok today’s round up is so fun! I loved seeing your favorites from last week!
I’m happy so many of you are trying my brush! It’s my favorite for blow drying. If you ordered it let me know if you love it too! I’m also sharing some favorites that were on sale last week, beach essentials (summer is right around the corner!), and spring/summer decor for inside and outside. Enjoy and have the best weekend! :)
Saturday 6
1 – ORGANIZED HOME DECOR CLOSET
Happy Saturday! Kicking off today’s Saturday 6 with a blast from the past! Who remembers this? *If you do.. thank you for hanging with me so long. ;) When we built our home I designed this closet in the playroom to hold ALL the kids’ toys. It worked so well for us for years! As our kids grew older it became a catch all closet for lots of random things until I finally decided at the beginning of this year to make better use of this precious space.
This is what it’s looking like today! A happy place for all of my extra home decor. I shared these baskets at the beginning of the year and have loved them. I still need to get labels for them but they are perfect to hold smaller seasonal items. The 3 large woven baskets on my bottom shelf hold extra throws. (I’m using the large braided crate baskets and the 12 inch woven baskets.) I used to have most of this in our coat closet and other places around the house, but I did a major clean out at the beginning of the year and donated everything I wasn’t using and then consolidated everything else upstairs. It’s working so well to have all of my extra home decor in one place! (Seasonal decor like Christmas lives in my attic.)
I put large baskets and vases on the tall top shelf and extra pillows on the left.
This closet is always changing as I decorate and move things around (it looked different last week!) but so nice to have a central spot to keep everything. I miss the days that this space held toys – it was a happy spot for my kids! But now it’s a happy spot for me and I’m choosing to focus on that. :)
2 – SPRING WREATHS
CUTEST spring wreaths! I’ve had these on my mudroom lockers for a couple of months. I was going to share them earlier but they sold out right after they came in. They were just re-stocked!
I love the olive leaves and the ribbons. They come in a set of 3 and would look cute on chairs or cabinets or doors – so many fun options!
I love hanging Christmas wreaths on our lockers and now I have something I love just as much for the months in-between. :)
3 – WASHER CLEANER
4 – TARGET FINDS
So I’m having a love affair with Target purses. I do not need one more but just CAN’T STOP buying them. This is so cute for summer! I shared so many cute Target purses and beach bags in this post if you are looking for something fun for spring/summer!
I just took this cute Target purse to dinner Friday. Nothing like a date night with friends to kick off the weekend!
Our photographer. :) Kole is taller than me now but my heeled boots create an even playing field.
I also love these initial bag charms. So fun to attach to a purse or beach bag. It’s a great way to personalize a bag for a gift too!
Also speaking of Target finds my cute rattan lamp is back in stock!
Love it with this rechargeable light bulb so I can hide the cord!
5 – SWIMSUIT ORGANIZATION
BEFORE
Sharing an oldie but a goodie in case anyone is ready to get swimsuits organized before summer hits!
{mini clear bag small bags – I bought this same bag in the 2 sizes listed above}
{similar slightly smaller bags here}
These bags actually come in a set of 3 sizes now which would have been perfect for this little makeover!
It took no time to fold my suits and cover-ups..
and place them each in these little bags.
AFTER
It has been over a year since I did this and I have absolutely loved it! This drawer is always clean and it’s so easy to find what I need! Plus when we’re traveling or heading to the beach I can just toss these bags in my beach/travel bag and I’m set. Some makeovers just keep bringing joy and this is one of them for me!
6 – YARD
Signing off with a few pics from the yard! This climbing rose bush is taking off.. another favorite I planted years ago.
Swany (my kids lovingly named him – we’re pretty creative around here) and I are wishing you a beautiful weekend!
Spring Flowers and Transitions
Happy mid week! Sharing where my cute rattan vases landed that I picked up when we visited Magnolia in Texas. LOVE them and aren’t these eucalyptus leaf stems pretty for spring/summer!? I’m so excited about them too! They came in a set of 14 stems (exactly what I’m showing here) and they were easy to style because they bend any way you want them to go. A fun mix of eucalyptus leaves and different white flowers.
I tried these same stems in a few modern round vases and also loved them so they will be fun to style different ways. They are making my kitchen feel happy. :)
This faux hydrangea bouquet is another beautiful option! I had these on display for the wedding shower. I love both of these sets because you don’t have to be skilled at arranging flowers. They come with various stems that all work together so you just set them all in a vase and ta-da! A beautiful arrangement.
I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend! Ellie has been dog sitting our friend’s dogs so we’ve been joining her for lots of walks.
So fun spending more time with her this week!
We love soaking up time with the dogs too. We’ve never been able to get a dog because of Ad’s allergies/asthma (destined for a life full of reptiles!) so we’ve semi adopted this crew. :)
Ad was home for a few days over Easter too! We had such a nice weekend with all 5 of us together. Lots of time outside walking and swimming, take out for dinner and movie nights. Monday hit and the girls went back to school and I had one of my not so fun transition days. I always struggle the day after the girls head back to college or the day after we leave them. I just feel bummed and in such a funk all day. Then the next day I get back in my routine and I’m fine! But the transition days.. they have been hard for me this year. I’ve learned to plan on a sad day and give myself some grace. I let myself not be as productive as I usually am. I let myself feel sad and I always go on a walk. I turn on Harry Potter a lot when I’m home. Random I know but the sounds/music from that series is comforting to me for some reason. Just having it on in the background is nice so the house doesn’t feel as quiet! I usually organize a drawer or something and just spend a day sorting out the feelings that come with change and missing my kids.
I mentioned my not so fun transition days on IG stories Monday and so many of you reached out who have older kids and also struggle with the transition of them coming and going. It was so nice hearing from so many of you! At least we aren’t alone in these feelings. There is always comfort in that! It reminded me of an older blog post I wrote years ago talking about this very thing with kids growing up. (Kaui and Thoughts on Parenting) A good post to read if you’re in the thick of the busy and often hard years of raising kids! Have a tissue close. :) And if you’re in a season of change or anything hard know that you aren’t alone and I’m sending a hug.
Also try turning on Harry Potter. Just trust me on this! Number 4 is my personal favorite but they all work.
Also don’t tell Kenny I told you to do that. He is SO tired of coming home to that series.. ha.
My roses are blooming and along with hearing from so many of you on IG they really cheered me up.
I love this time of year when they start showing off!
More pics I snapped Monday of the backyard. I’m a huge fan of white, yellow and purple flowers in case you haven’t noticed. :)
They make me happy.
So does chatting about life and flowers on the blog with all of you.
Thanks for being here.
:)
Sunday Edit
Happy Easter! Below are some fun SPRING favorites. Wishing you a beautiful day with loved ones!! :)
Saturday 6
1 – JUMPSUIT
2 – WHITE FOR THE WIN
3 – SUMMER TEE
4 – SPRING DRESS
5 – GREEN FAVS
Cutest relaxed top!
6 – WORKOUT FAVORITES
A couple favorites I’ve been wearing this year on my morning and evening walks! This cates tee is comfortable, lightweight and flattering. A cropped fit but perfect to wear with high waist leggings. The material is so soft! I want to pick up a few more in different colors. It’s SO good.
I also love these Swiftly Tech long sleeve shirts for walks! They are lightweight so I wear them even when it’s sunny so that I don’t get sunburned. They also keep me warm on cooler days. This style is hip length.

Spring Porch
I filled all of my pots with packaging paper (I’ve been saving it from Amazon orders for months!) and then I added Spanish moss at the very top.
Spring Wedding Shower
Sharing pics of the wedding shower I hosted last Saturday! I spent a lot of time in the yard the week before getting my patio furniture and yard clean. It was such a dirty mess from winter and it feels amazing to have it all clean now. I added flowers to a couple of pots and planted a few new things in the yard. Happy we can be outside more and enjoy it now!
We went with a garden vibe for the shower and used whites, greens and yellow for the flowers. Two of my cute friends made all of the flower arrangements using my favorite acrylic vases and I love how they turned out!
Everything is blooming! I love white flowers. Hard to tell I know. Ha.

Some of the party planning crew!
We lucked out with beautiful weather the day of the shower. Kole and I were up early Saturday morning getting pillows on the lounge chairs and starting to set the tables! We rented these gorgeous wood tables (same set we used at the last shower we hosted) and they were perfect. I love that the tables are so pretty we can get away with just a simple runner vs. a tablecloth.
I used beautiful glass candle holders and had some LED floating candles that worked so well in the house but when I set them in the water in the candle holders outside you couldn’t even tell they were lit! Luckily we had some actual floating candles on hand to use instead. The LED sets I bought will be perfect for inside or evening dining!
We had Mexican food (the bride’s favorite!) and they set up a black tent on the lawn where they cooked everything. It was so delicious! We’re still eating some of the leftovers. :)
I ordered this swan for our pool and knew I would be cutting it close because it was supposed to be delivered the day of the shower. It came 20 minutes before the party started! Kenny had been up all morning helping me in the yard and moving tables and things around. When the swan came I said ok.. LAST thing I need your help with.. we HAVE to have the swan in the pool. Ha! I don’t think he really agreed the swan was a must have but he pulled out our electric air pump and brought out the swan right before guests arrived. Shaking his head the whole time! But he did it.
Now that’s love. ;)
Inflatable Swan, Floating Lotus Light
Hello my friend. Welcome to your new home.
Now we can party! A must have indeed. :)
We also set out baby pictures of the couple and some cute question cards for the guests to fill out on each table.
We had mocktails and LOTS of diet coke.
Along with cake and churros for dessert.
I didn’t get a good pic of the long table on my back porch. We had more drinks and toppings for the food there. I took these pics so fast because I was still setting things up!
Not everyone but we snapped this when about half of the guests had arrived!
Inflatable Swan, Floating Lotus Light
Some pics I snapped quick while everyone was eating!
Inflatable Swan, Floating Lotus Light
It was a warm day and the only thing I wish I would have thought of was moving more of our umbrellas around the tables for shade white everyone ate. Next time!
My shower party planning partner in crime.
After we all ate everyone gathered around the TV to watch a fun movie of the groom answering questions about the bride. Then she spoke about him.. it was so cute and made me tear up! I love love and new beginnings. :) So happy for them!
Chocolates inside these cute gift boxes for the party favors! They turned out so cute and we had some left over so I’ve eaten A LOT of chocolate this week.
*Sidenote.. are the uneven baskets at the bottom of my console table in this picture making anyone else feel a twitch coming on? Or is it just me? :)
Me and the bride to be with her sister and mom (a long time bestie)! Couldn’t love these girls more. I found the cute wedding shower sign here and I set it with a picture of the couple on black easels near the front porch. We used a lot of sage green and white for the shower because those are the colors she is using for her wedding. My porch matched too! I’ll share more porch details soon.
It was a beautiful day!
We placed these disposable trash cans all around the yard and they made clean up so easy! Kole helped me pull all the outdoor pillows back inside and when the last guest left and the last dish was cleared and everything was put away I picked up some chocolate, hit my couch and didn’t move for an hour! Ha. Happy exhaustion! That’s always what I feel after hosting a party.
But now after a few days of recovery.. my swan and I are ready for round 2.
Sunday Edit
Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend! I’m happy to say that the wedding shower was a success! So much fun and everything came together. It usually does! Even though whenever I host a party I’m always scrambling at the last minute thinking it won’t. If you ever want to get your house and yard in order quickly, throw a party! There are little things that had been on my to-do list to do around the house for months that I kept putting off, but with a serious deadline I magically found the time to prioritize it all. Sometimes at 2 am (ha) but it happened. Funny how that works right? We went straight from our Texas trip to hosting company to throwing the shower so my plans for today? Absolutely nothing. :) I’m so looking forward to a relaxing day with my boys. I hope you are able to relax too! Enjoy last week’s round-ups! SO many fun things! I’ll be back soon with lots to share. :)
Saturday 6
Happy Saturday! I’m mixing it up for this week’s Saturday 6! We have had family staying with us this past week and today I’m hosting a wedding shower so things have been a little upside down at my house. I’ll share shower pics and some other fun things going on around here as soon as I can catch my breath! Today I’m popping in with a few favorites and most are tried and true!
I bought this serving platter a few months ago and can’t wait to pull it out this summer! Platters like this are my favorite to use for fresh fruit. It’s a nice large size and white works with everything. Plus it’s dishwasher safe! Score.
