Checking in

Hi friends!  Just popping in to let you know that we are mid-move and we’ve just transferred our Internet service to the new house.  Because of this I have limited Internet access for the rest of the week until we have completely moved in.  If I have a minute during one of our trips to the new house, I’ll try to post a pic from the day, but it will be a week before I’m back to regular blogging.  Such a bummer because I have SO many pictures to share!  (This has been the case for a year.  So many pictures to share… so little time to share them!)  A cleaning crew came to the new house last week and finally removed all of the paper from the counters and floors and cleaned up all of the construction mess.  SO nice!  Everything is all shiny and new and sparkling clean and now I don’t want to move in!  It will never be this clean again!  Ever!  :)  There is still construction going on – fixing up this and touching up that.  But that will be the case for the next month or so after we are in the house.  It’s all good.  I’m just ready to have the packing and moving part behind us!  If you’ve e-mailed me questions I’ll do my best to get back to you, but my response might take longer than usual.  Thanks for understanding!  So excited to get back into a regular routine with blogging… and everything else for that matter.  :)

Talk (or type?) soon!  Enjoy your day!

xoxo, Erin

  1. Such an exciting time for you and your family!! Just remember to stop and take a break every now and then…it will still be there when you get back. With a little rest you will be refreshed and ready to organize the next “mess”.

  2. Ha Ha Ha , so funny. My thoughts exactly. Everything so shiney and brand new you don’t want to move in. You just want to sit back and just enjoy the newness of it for a while.
Love following your blog. I am from San Diego also and like to follow your blog because I feel I am there with you. So much fun. I love all you outdoor pictures, because the beauty of San Diego is the outside. Nothing like it. I can’t wait to see your new house as you disigned it. So cool.

  3. YAY! Fun times! Enjoy your move and yes, take LOTS of pictures! We can’t wait to see them… but we CAN WAIT to see them! :) We’ll be here when you get settled! I can smell the newness of your home from here! :)

  4. Yaaay! Just in time for the holidays, too. That would be waaay to much to move during the holiday season. A blessing, but a great feat, no doubt.

Congratulations to you and your family, Erin!

  5. GOOD LUCK!! So incredibly excited for you guys!! The house is beautiful but not as beautiful as your family, enjoy all the craziness! XOXO Elie
