Grateful

I can’t quite put into words how I have felt this weekend.  I have read every comment on my last post three times now.  Yes, children were ignored and laundry has piled high.  :)  You are all so amazingly sweet and articulate and thoughtful and sincere.  You made me laugh and you made me cry and you made me even more grateful that I started blogging in the first place.
I wrote hoping that you would help me be a bit less scattered and come to find out – you all like scattered.  You relate to scattered.  Who knew!?  :)  So I will blog on in regular random fashion!  And I am saving all of your comments from that last post in an email folder so that I can pull them up to read whenever I want.  They will remind me that there are wonderful people reading my blog.  And how lucky I truly am to call so many of you friends.

My family is in town (squeal!).  We went to the beach this weekend and I swear I will be cleaning sand out of my house and car and hair for a week!  But it was a great beach day.  Not too busy and perfect weather.  We have fun plans for the next two days and I am excited to take a break from the “norm.”  I will be back soon with lots to blog about.  :)

Thanks again.  Your kind words meant so much to me and I am incredibly grateful to all of you for your encouragement and support and friendship.

xoxo,

Erin

I have been waiting all week for that phone call.I get to be in there and I am so excited to meet this sweet baby boy.

  4. Hi Erin,
I read your post the other day but didn’t get a chance to comment so here I am.
I love your blog, it’s the one I turn to when I feel like going home. I love all you share, you inspire me and you make me laugh, you are just adorable. Keep doing what you’re doing, I love it all.

Love to you and your sweet family. x

  5. I didn’t get a chance to read your post the other day (a very rare occurence) so I, like Betty, am going to comment here. I love your blog. It is one of a few that I check daily. I think I stumbled upon your blog thru scrapbooking and project life, but I keep coming back because I like it all. Maybe the radomness is part of what I like. Thanks so much for sharing your life with us!

  6. Sorry I missed your Friday post but ORGANIZING… seems to be the word for the day. I found you looking for Organizing ideas. I have 2 girls as well. And need ideas to help me make my house a home. Been in it 9 years still not hung pictures :(. But I am committed to this house but have to much STUFF…so needed your help to figure out how to purge and organize. SO please keep blogging on everything… random thoughts of LIFE! And any organizing ideas…. working mom plus 31 business plus Girl Scouts and church stuff…soccer and softball..I need all the help I can get from your ideas! Thanks for blogging… Tam

  7. Ok, my first thought was – she read all those comments three times?! Then I had to scroll down and see the number of comments and thought – she read 230 comments three times??!!

    Have fun with your fam!

  8. That’s why we love you so Erin! You are a grateful person and you took the time to read the comments that we all took the time to write. (I’m like you, I would have read them at let three times too :-)) Have a great rest of the week! I have to ad, this word verification has been getting really picky lately, like I have to try it 5 times.

  9. Hi Erin! You are so sweet, genuine and real! Enjoy your precious time with family, cannot wait to see through the holiday season and beyond with all your ideas, recipes (lol you are better than you think!) and super duper organising posts! Justine T
