1 – GAME DAY FAVORITES
Happy Sunday! I hope your week is off to a good start! Football is back and I rounded up so many cute hosting favorites if you’re having people over for a game! Or if like me you live with a football lover who ALWAYS has a game on and you want to make the game feel a little more fun by bringing the snacks. On cute trays of course. :)
This football serving tray is a long time favorite! So cute and easy for chips or veggies with dip. I also ordered this this cute football tray with the middle section for olive oil. Love it!
2 – THINGS TO DO
I always love a good brain dump but especially in the fall! This notepad has been perfect to use at the beginning of each week when I just need a good list of ALL the things that need to happen.
3 – FALL GARLAND
Isn’t this fall garland BEAUTIFUL!? It was just delivered and I wanted to share it quick before it sells out again! The leaves look so real and they are incredibly soft to touch. I’ll show you how I’m using it soon!
4 – PUMPKIN SERVEWARE
Seeing lots of pumpkins popping up around here.. tis the season!
I’m hosting a little get together with a friend soon and I can’t wait to use these cute pumpkin accessories!
The salt and pepper shaker! Could NOT pass that one up. :)
I’m excited to use these pumpkin bowls for soup after the party too. They are too cute!
5 – FASHION FAVS
I’ll be honest.. I return more clothes than I keep from Amazon. I have to really like the fit of something to keep it and these paajamas I ordered are such a favorite purchase! A great fit (true to size – this set is xs)Â and they are so soft and comfortable! I love the scallop edge detail on the sleeves and pants. HELLO to my new fall uniform. Getting dark at 5 pm? Pj time is hitting even earlier!?
I’m ok with that. :)
This green sweater is a recent splurge but such a good fit and a staple item I know I’ll have/love/wear for YEARS. You can’t go wrong with this style of sweater. Or with anything green. But it comes in LOTS of colors if you aren’t as crazy about green as I am. :)
This entire outfit is on sale! So excited to wear this jacket this fall!
6 – STEAMBOAT SPRINGS
Sharing some pics from a recent 3 day anniversary trip to Steamboat Springs! 29 years (and LOTS of blog posts later) and we’re still each other’s favorite. :)
A mountain getaway in the summer/fall is always our favorite kind of trip. HELLO gorgeous view out every window!
We spent the first day on bikes with our friends riding along the river and exploring the town.
We hit a farmer’s market and had the best peaches I’ve ever had in my life!
Everything tastes better in the mountains.
Steamboat Springs, CO is the cutest little town! Seriously something straight out of a Hallmark movie. The downtown is so quaint with charming, colorful buildings and everything lights up at night.
There are also so many good places to eat! We visited Steamboat 9 years ago with our close friends (their anniversary is the day after ours) and had such a fun trip we swore we’d make it a yearly tradition. 9 years later we made it happen again.. ha. I wrote a post all about it HERE and some of you who have been with me for a long time might remember it! We also took our kids one year and they loved Steamboat too. We usually go a little later in September/October to hit the leaves, but even though they weren’t turning while we were there everything was still absolutely beautiful. The evenings were nice and cool so we go our fall fix. :)

E3 Chophouse (both have great food and gorgeous views along the river!)
O’Neils Tavern & Grill (fun lively atmosphere and great food)
Creekside Cafe & Grill (fun for breakfast/brunch)
Salt & Lime (a San Diego favorite too.. best tacos!)

I’ve also heard Cafe Diva is good but haven’t tried it yet!
So grateful I get to do life with my best friend.
We love you Steamboat and hope to visit again soon!
Back in San Diego driving home from the airport – 90 degrees and sunny! Welcome home where fall weather only exists in our dreams.
At least I can enjoy this cozy view and crank the air. :)
