Tulip Candy Vase (Sunny Side Up)

{faux pink tulips (I used 40 for this arrangement so 2 sets of 20)/taylor glass hurricane – 9 inch/cylinder clear glass vase – 8×6/sweetarts}

Happy Sunday! One week until Easter. It’s sneaking up quickly isn’t it!? My console table has a new addition I’m feeling pretty good about. My “welcome spring candy vase!” Full of beautiful faux pink tulips and my favorite Easter candy.. Chicks Ducks and Bunnies. Those cute and colorful Sweetarts get me every time. They are actually my second favorite Easter candy just a notch below Cadbury Eggs, but I didn’t think my chocolate eggs would make the cut for this spring arrangement.

Guess I’ll just have to eat those quickly without displaying them first. :)

Tulip Candy Vase (Sunny Side Up)

I’ve seen this idea a few different ways and wanted to try it. You just put one clear vase inside of another vase that’s a little larger. Place your flowers in the middle smaller vase and your candy in the space between the two vases. So simple! There are so many different ways you could style this!

I used two vases I had on hand and because there wasn’t a huge size difference between them, I could only get candy to fit around 2/3rds of the vase. There is a little section in the back with no candy because the candy was thick and when I filled the front it slid the vase back. I linked the two vases I used above, but wanted to mention that if you purchase them. If you want the candy to go all the way around the vase you might want two clear vases with a bigger size difference.

I didn’t mind one bit because I wanted to put this on my console table and you can’t see the back side anyway. :)

So pretty and fun for spring isn’t it!? Plus now my 2nd favorite Easter candy is close when it’s time to watch a movie.

The Cadbury Eggs on my lap are even closer. I’m tricky like that. ;)

I have a few weekend favorites and sales to share below! I rounded up all things lemon (including good lemon tree options for anyone looking!) along with some favorite spring throws and planters. There are also a few sales going on this weekend that are worth mentioning!

– It’s the final weekend for Pottery Barn’s Spring Warehouse sale.. beautiful furniture and decor at amazing prices! Their Easter decor is also 30% off. So many cute things that would make it in time for next week and also work for spring after.

Target is having a weekend sale on outdoor furniture and decor. I finally started pulling out our outdoor cushions last week. Time to clean the furniture outside and start using it again! I know we are all so ready. You can see how we clean some of our outdoor furniture cushions in this post.

Nordstrom has so many cute new markdowns. I love this ruffle sleeve blouse for spring!

Wayfair is doing 5 days of deals on home items with free shipping on everything!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and decorate with some Easter candy for me!

Or just eat it instead. :)

  1. Super cute candy idea. I’d have a real hard time not reaching in to snag some of those sweetarts. I love ’em! But they sure look great there. I thought all your lemony goodness ideas were super cute, too. I like how bright and happy they look. Have fun pulling out the outside furniture (and cleaning it). It’ll look fabulous out and on display. I hope you have a fantastic week.

    1. Thank you Jeanne! We will be lucky if these sweetarts make it to Easter.. favorites around here! :) I hope you’re having a great week too! xo
