In reality I’m here. Surrounded by palm trees with leaves that don’t change and 100 degree heat on the coast. WHAT is happening!? Fall where are you!?

Our air conditioner broke a couple of weeks ago and I’m so grateful we got a new unit installed before this weekend hit! It was crazy hot. But the heat isn’t stopping me from celebrating the season! I decorated my Halloween porch this weekend (will share in my next post!) and ahhhh! new Christmas drops are happening! Let’s GO. I have no problem setting up Christmas trees in 100 degree heat. Time to crank the air and turn on Michael Buble’!

1 – TARGET CHRISTMAS DROPS

Target started dropping Christmas and there are so many cute holiday items! I was happy to see these cedar berry branches back in stock this year! I had 2 (maybe 3?) bundles in this vase and loved them so much last year. Excited to pull them out again!

They also brought back this cute bow pillow that sold out so quickly last year! Another item I’m excited to see again. :) I rounded up favorites from the Mcgee and Magnolia collections below and of course ordered a few things. Let the tree trimming begin!

2 – GIRL MATH

I had so many returns piling up over the last few weeks that I set aside a morning to take everything back at once. Sometimes when I do this I call Kenny after returning things to tell him I’m at the mall making us money.. ha.

Then of course I always feel totally justified buying a few new things because I’m making us so much money with my returns. Girl math 101. This was my haul! The banner inspired my porch this year, the purse is the CUTEST, socks and Olaplex are staples I continually replace and the clothes are 10/10. It was a good return day. ;)

Jeans, Top (similar), Ballet Flats, Necklace, Watch

These are the jeans I bought and yes.. I have several similar pairs in this same style but they are the jeans I reach for the most! So cute, flattering, comfortable and a great length to wear with ballet flats. I can’t recommend this pair enough! SO good.

These pants are so cute too! Different and baggy and fun and also hard to photograph!

Side view. I shared these in IG stories last week and my mom sent me a DM saying she didn’t love them! It made me laugh because earlier that day I told Kole I didn’t love the jorts he was wearing (I just can’t get on board with jorts!) and he told me that when your mom doesn’t like your outfit it means you are on to something and dressing cool. Ha ha.. I repeated the same thing to my mom! I actually got so many compliments on them the day I wore them so you probably either LOVE or HATE this style but I’m a fan. Sorry mom. ;)

Free People is always hit and miss for me but right now I am LOVING so many things they are coming out with! I guess I’m a fan of the baggy pants because I can’t stop wearing these pj pants either.

Dream State Joggers / Dream State Top

I also bought and love this pair. They come with a matching top too but I didn’t buy it because it’s just too hot for long sleeves here right now! But the pants are cute and crazy soft and if I was living a cool state with changing leaves the matching set would be on repeat. I love this season because it gets dark early and pjs become totally acceptable to put on at 5 pm.

3 – FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Eye Patches, Youthful Lip Balm, Mascara

I’ve shared these before but truly if I could only pack 3 beauty items these would be the first items I would grab! All things I’ve added to my routine in the last year and now I feel like I can’t live without them. I guess I COULD.. but I don’t want to. :)

Tinted Moisturizer, Eye Cream, Concealer Stick

The next 3 items I would grab? Easy. After protecting my face from sun I clearly I care the most about keeping my eyes in good shape.. ha. I would highly recommend all 6 of these products if you haven’t tried them!

4 – PHONE CASE

I love that I always have my drivers license and 2 main credit cards with me! I never have to take my purse when I’m running into the grocery store or somewhere quick and it’s so convenient in airports when I’m traveling. Now that I’m used to the wallet/phone case I don’t think I can ever go back!

5 – VEGGIE CHOPPER

Veggie Chopper

I recently ordered this veggie chopper because my friends all love it (it’s always a hit at Favorite Things Parties!) and I thought it would help when I prep salads and snacks for the week. But I’m not gonna lie.. it kind of scared me.. ha. I took it out of the box and it has so many parts! I decided I’ll try using it tomorrow. Do you have and love it!? I’m sure it’s easy to use once I get the hang of it.. wish me luck. :)
