My kitchen is feeling festive with a few summer updates! First I have to share these dessert plates.. are they not just the cutest!? I couldn’t love them more. The scalloped edge! Red, white and blue! Fun summer patterns! Including gingham! SOLD.

Of course I had to get this too. Equally cute and you always need a fun tray for summer BBQ’s. The tray and plates could double as kitchen decor too!

I put this little arrangement together and it instantly brightened my kitchen! These blue hydrangeas are so gorgeous and realistic. The white version are my favorite faux hydrangeas so I was excited to order the blue for summer.

The candles look so pretty turned on! Battery operated with a remote of course. This marble stand is beautiful too and can be used in so many ways.

I also added this pretty floral flag wall art and love it with the candles and ribbon. They would be so cute on a fireplace mantel too! I’m still adding fun things here and there but wanted to share these easy ideas if you want to add some summer flare to your home! Or cute ideas to decorate for the 4th.

The oven was on when I took this (Kole’s favorite Trader Joe egg rolls.. ha) and the light is blue! Not planned but.. I’ll take it. :) I’m loving these easy summer updates. A little ambience for late night movies! It isn’t Christmas lights, but it will do!

HA Ha! “FOR NOW!” THAT is an “ERINISM if I ever heard one! Knowing you, the red bins are probably lined up and ready to go for a quick exit from storage! Ya gotta love us “thinking of the next season people” or the next TWO seasons!
For now, I am waiting for the recently opened pool to clear (WAY too late to open the pool!) I ordered the solar powered lighted swan AND the pump on your recommendation. I think I have had most of the floats you recommended, in fact the pineapple 2X! Last pineapple, now at the pearly gates so on with the swan. Do you think maybe she needs a friend? 2 swans better than one?!? SO anxious to see her lit up. I just may jump the gun and solar charge her out of water! Sorry Miss Swan, soon you will be floating!
