We are half way through June (whaattt!?) and the 4th of July is right around the corner. Don’t ask me how we are even here.. I still feel like I just took my Christmas trees down. I might as well start putting them up again. Ha. Kidding but actually not kidding. It will be here before we blink!
Because this beloved holiday is so close I thought I would share a few fun ideas for decorating/entertaining and just overall family/friend time so that we can all be ready!
When this snow cone machine went on sale I knew we had to have it! My kids LOVE this thing. We had one a few years back and had snow cones all summer long. It works pretty well and they loved it so much. I finally donated it during the winter and when Addison and Kole found out it was gone they were devastated so I’m making it up to them! I guess I need to find a permanent spot for this in my pantry.
I shared these cute trays Saturday.. love that they can stand up as decor for your 4th of July table!
Or you can fill them with snacks. I like this mix of fruit with candy.. let’s try to eat healthy when possible but also BALANCE and let’s enjoy the m&m’s here and there too. ;)
I can’t pass these fun snack boxes up! Clearly I’m obsessed with them but how fun is this for the 4th!?
I would have loved these when my kids were little to take to the 4th of July parades! Fill them with snacks or let the kids use them to hold the candy they get at the parade.
I ordered a Nothing Bundt Cake and it was cute decor with the flower and flag.
This was a yummy snack that took no time – just strawberries, marshmallows, and blueberries.
{Round Chargers / Similar Striped Napkins / Similar Gingham Plates / Americana Salad Plates / Similar Flatware}
My long time favorite salad flag plates are on sale! So cute – I’ve used them for years.
Fun idea for a table setting.
Or take the whole set up outside. Even better. :)
The items I used in this recent summer set up would also be so cute for the 4th! Just add some pops of red on the table and you’re set.
Summer staples!
This Feta and Tomato Dip I’ve shared many times has become a favorite at both the 4th of July and Christmas time! Recipe in this post.
Serveware Set (similar)
Such a cute idea!
You know where I display our past holiday favorites. :)
This is a fun game to play with a group of friends/family over the holiday break! We take it often when we travel. You can see a closer look at some of the cards my family chose for me in this post if you want more details on the game. It’s pretty simple and brings up a lot of funny stories/personality traits!
Below are some cute things I’m seeing on-line. The PB Icon glasses are SO cute (similar to Anthro’s) and they are on sale right now! They come in versions for ALL the holidays and are too much fun. I hope this round-up gave you a few ideas for the upcoming holiday! It’s such a fun time of year to bring people together. Can’t wait.
Then after the 4th we can start talking Christmas trees.
Kidding!
Kind of. :)
