Spring Porch

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Friday! Sharing some pics of my spring porch today!

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

I went with whites and greens this year because those are the colors we used for the wedding shower but also because in my opinion green is always a good choice. :)

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

I used a lot of items I’ve had for years! My beloved black pots (a mix of two styles) and the same faux ficus trees I used last spring/summer.

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

My new addition this year that I’m so excited about are these faux camellia trees! They are beautiful and so realistic. The white flowers add a feminine touch to the porch that I’m loving this year.

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

Spanish Moss

I filled all of my pots with packaging paper (I’ve been saving it from Amazon orders for months!) and then I added Spanish moss at the very top.

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

I linked the faux hydrangeas I love and want to replace this set with (I’ve had these in my basket for years but they don’t look as realistic as my Amazon set!). I love faux hydrangeas on the porch this time of year. I kept my lanterns up.. just can’t quit the lights in the evening!

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

Spring Porch (Sunny Side Up)

This jute rug is also a favorite on repeat! I’ve ordered it several times throughout the years. So cute with this plaid welcome mat. It’s the same rug I have in my powder bathroom for spring too. :)

I love Fridays. My favorite day of the week. It’s often better than the actual weekend itself right!? So much possibility. :)

I hope you have a great start to your weekend. We’ll chat soon with 6 on Saturday!

Spring Wedding Shower

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

Sharing pics of the wedding shower I hosted last Saturday! I spent a lot of time in the yard the week before getting my patio furniture and yard clean. It was such a dirty mess from winter and it feels amazing to have it all clean now. I added flowers to a couple of pots and planted a few new things in the yard. Happy we can be outside more and enjoy it now!

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

We went with a garden vibe for the shower and used whites, greens and yellow for the flowers. Two of my cute friends made all of the flower arrangements using my favorite acrylic vases and I love how they turned out!

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

Everything is blooming! I love white flowers. Hard to tell I know. Ha.

We lucked out with beautiful weather the day of the shower. Kole and I were up early Saturday morning getting pillows on the lounge chairs and starting to set the tables! We rented these gorgeous wood tables (same set we used at the last shower we hosted) and they were perfect. I love that the tables are so pretty we can get away with just a simple runner vs. a tablecloth.

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

{Green Table Runners, Glass Candle Holders,  Floating Candles, Large Floating Candles, Gold Picture Frame, Woven Chargers, Acrylic Flower Holders, Flower Napkin Rings, Disposable Glasses, Scalloped Plates}

I used beautiful glass candle holders and had some LED floating candles that worked so well in the house but when I set them in the water in the candle holders outside you couldn’t even tell they were lit! Luckily we had some actual floating candles on hand to use instead. The LED sets I bought will be perfect for inside or evening dining!

We had Mexican food (the bride’s favorite!) and they set up a black tent on the lawn where they cooked everything. It was so delicious! We’re still eating some of the leftovers. :)

This table gets so hot in the sun I had to use a table cloth!

Inflatable Swan

I ordered this swan for our pool and knew I would be cutting it close because it was supposed to be delivered the day of the shower. It came 20 minutes before the party started! Kenny had been up all morning helping me in the yard and moving tables and things around. When the swan came I said ok.. LAST thing I need your help with.. we HAVE to have the swan in the pool. Ha! I don’t think he really agreed the swan was a must have but he pulled out our electric air pump and brought out the swan right before guests arrived. Shaking his head the whole time! But he did it.

Now that’s love. ;)

Now we can party! A must have indeed. :)

These disposable scalloped plates are the cutest! I ordered extra to use all summer. Love them with my cute flower napkin rings.

We also set out baby pictures of the couple and some cute question cards for the guests to fill out on each table.

I didn’t get a good pic of the long table on my back porch. We had more drinks and toppings for the food there. I took these pics so fast because I was still setting things up!

Not everyone but we snapped this when about half of the guests had arrived!

My shower party planning partner in crime.

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

After we all ate everyone gathered around the TV to watch a fun movie of the groom answering questions about the bride. Then she spoke about him.. it was so cute and made me tear up! I love love and new beginnings. :) So happy for them!

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

Patio Console Table / Gift BoxesGold Picture Frame

Chocolates inside these cute gift boxes for the party favors! They turned out so cute and we had some left over so I’ve eaten A LOT of chocolate this week.

*Sidenote.. are the uneven baskets at the bottom of my console table in this picture making anyone else feel a twitch coming on? Or is it just me? :)

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

Me and the bride to be with her sister and mom (a long time bestie)! Couldn’t love these girls more. I found the cute wedding shower sign here and I set it with a picture of the couple on black easels near the front porch. We used a lot of sage green and white for the shower because those are the colors she is using for her wedding. My porch matched too! I’ll share more porch details soon.

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

It was a beautiful day!

Spring Wedding Shower (Sunny Side Up)

We placed these disposable trash cans all around the yard and they made clean up so easy!  Kole helped me pull all the outdoor pillows back inside and when the last guest left and the last dish was cleared and everything was put away I picked up some chocolate, hit my couch and didn’t move for an hour! Ha. Happy exhaustion! That’s always what I feel after hosting a party.

But now after a few days of recovery.. my swan and I are ready for round 2.

Come on over!
:)

Sunday Edit

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend! I’m happy to say that the wedding shower was a success! So much fun and everything came together. It usually does! Even though whenever I host a party I’m always scrambling at the last minute thinking it won’t. If you ever want to get your house and yard in order quickly, throw a party! There are little things that had been on my to-do list to do around the house for months that I kept putting off, but with a serious deadline I magically found the time to prioritize it all. Sometimes at 2 am (ha) but it happened. Funny how that works right? We went straight from our Texas trip to hosting company to throwing the shower so my plans for today? Absolutely nothing. :) I’m so looking forward to a relaxing day with my boys. I hope you are able to relax too! Enjoy last week’s round-ups! SO many fun things! I’ll be back soon with lots to share. :)

Saturday 6

Happy Saturday! I’m mixing it up for this week’s Saturday 6! We have had family staying with us this past week and today I’m hosting a wedding shower so things have been a little upside down at my house. I’ll share shower pics and some other fun things going on around here as soon as I can catch my breath! Today I’m popping in with a few favorites and most are tried and true!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

I’ve been using this hair brush for years and love it! I have thick hair and it’s a perfect paddle brush for blow drying. My sister has been here all week and kept borrowing it so I’m ordering her one too! It reminded me that I’ve never shared it. Long time favorite. :)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)Serving Platter

I bought this serving platter a few months ago and can’t wait to pull it out this summer! Platters like this are my favorite to use for fresh fruit. It’s a nice large size and white works with everything. Plus it’s dishwasher safe! Score.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

I just got these stems in the mail yesterday and they are SO beautiful! I’ll share a pic of them styled soon but very excited about them. I also ordered the Eucalyptus Leaf Stems (same link) and they are coming next week so I’ll share them both if I love those too!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

I was in PB a few days ago picking up something I needed for the shower and these candles were on display. I seriously wanted to buy every version! They smell so good and are just beautiful! I’m definitely getting one or two of them for summer and just need to decide which (lemons of course but can’t decide on the other!). Would highly recommend if you want a good spring/summer candle and one would make a beautiful gift!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

Love this cute handbag! It comes in lots of colors too and I think I need it for summer. :)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up Blog)

I tried to pick one item to end on from Anthro and couldn’t do less than 6! Ha. Love that store! I recently bought the green jumpsuit and couldn’t love it more! I’ll wear it over a suit to the beach or just to lounge in with a sports bra. I’ll share a pic of it on soon! Love the dress too and I want to order the bow bath rugs for my girls’ bathroom! I have my eye on the wood side table and it’s on sale this weekend. So tempting! The bowl has been on my wish list forever and the serving board looks large and perfect for summer entertaining. I would order it quickly if I didn’t already have one that is similar. All so good! I’m off to get a few more things ready for the shower. My house looks like a tornado hit with candles and tablecloths and serve ware EVERYWHERE. Fingers crossed I get this put together before guests arrive. Going to be cutting it close this time! Wish me luck and enjoy your Saturday!

Saturday 6 and Sunday Edit

I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I had the best intentions of getting my Saturday 6 post up yesterday and it just didn’t happen! As soon as we came back from Texas my sister and her kids arrived for the week and I didn’t have time to sit and write my post Friday night until after 1:00 am. Back in my early blogging days I could have stayed up another hour knocking it out but I’m too old for that now.. ha. I couldn’t keep my eyes open! So this week I’m combining Saturday 6 with the Sunday Edit and apologizing in advance that this is a longer post. Time to pop the popcorn. :)

1 – WEDDING

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Dress, Dress (from Anthro)

We went to the most gorgeous wedding last week! Me with the mother of the bride! We love this family so much and I was so emotional seeing her beautiful daughter so happy. Wearing the cute dress I shared earlier.. I love it for all spring/summer events!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Such a fun night!

2 – EASTER TREE

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Faux Tree, Egg Ornaments

Cutest little Easter tree! This picture isn’t great because you can’t see how pretty it is with the lights turned on. I ordered this tree and egg ornaments to hang on it and put it in our guest room as a little night light for my sister while she’s here. It’s beautiful lit up at night!

3 – TRAVEL FAVS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

{Travel Jewelry Case, Double Layer Makeup Bag, Woven Cosmetic Bag, Makeup Brush Holder,

Clear Cosmetic Bags, Clean Skin Towels, Rx Case, Compression Packing Cubes}

Repeat of a few travel favorites I’ve shared before! I snapped this quick unpacking from Texas. My new (old) backpack is so clean! The woven cosmetic bag is the same bag I’ve shared before.. just a different version and my cute little medicine case is back in stock!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Clean Skin Towels, Clear Cosmetic Bags

I always pack a few of my clean skin towels to wash my face with. I have lots of these little clear bags leftover from my swim suit organization and they have been perfect for travel.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Travel Jewelry Case

The only new addition here is this cute little travel jewelry case I’m loving! It’s full of small zipper pouches.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Travel Jewelry Case

I like that I can put necklaces in their own individual pouches because they don’t tangle! Plus the organizer in me just loves the little zipper compartments. :)

4 – ORGANIZED GIFT WRAP

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Mesh Wire Baskets (similar)

Ok.. confession time. My gift wrap has been a hot mess since the holidays! I never got it under control after Christmas and it has been spilling all over my office. Piles everywhere.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

My holiday gift wrap has been sitting in my theatre room because I didn’t want to put it back in my attic until I had time to go through it. I was thinking that would be at some point in January. Hello April! I can’t believe I put this off so long but here we are! I pulled EVERYTHING out. All the Christmas wrap.. all the office piles. Time for a good movie. :)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Two hours later things were in a MUCH better place! Now I can put this away with all things Christmas.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I keep a lot of Christmas sacks that we re-use every year for gifts and organized them in this cute basket. I put a few of these together for holiday gifts and had Addison’s in her closet. Perfect gift sack storage!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Mesh Wire Baskets (similar)

I went through all of my other wrap supplies and donated a lot. So nice to have things under control again!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Mesh Wire Baskets (similar), Wrapping Paper Clips

Isn’t that a pretty sight!? I couldn’t even close this cupboard door before! I love these wrapping paper clips to contain wrapping paper rolls.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Mesh Wire Baskets (similar)

Feels pretty good to accomplish something that has been on my to-do list since the end of December! Better late than never. :)

5 – SUMMER THROWS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I shared a pic of my blanket ladder in my last post and some of you e-mailed asking for throw links so here they are!

Below are the round-ups for last week! So many fun things for spring and your favorites! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)

Quick trip to Texas/Magnolia

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Hello from Texas! Kole and El had the same spring break this week and Ellie hasn’t been to Texas to see her sister this year so we decided that since the whole family couldn’t go on a trip together the 4 of us would just travel to Texas for a few days! So fun being with my crew all together again (I know all moms of older kids get it!). We spent one afternoon at Magnolia and timed it just right with weather. Everything was so beautiful! Sharing some pics I took below! Major spring vibes and if you are still mucking your way through winter let these pics get you by until you start seeing spring in your neck of the woods!

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Before we head outside though we need to do some shopping together. Hello gorgeous home decor! This store is TOO much fun.

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Ad is the only one who will shop with me and she only lasted about 15 minutes. Ha. I could look at home decor for hours! But I was strong and left after 30 min. Only because I know I’ll be back! :)

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Stores like this are my happy place.

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

I wanted to take it all home! When you visit Magnolia if you spend over $100 they will ship things for free. Most of it you can get on their website too! Their new spring collection is so good this year!

Magnolia (Sunny Side Up Blog)

These are some of the items I was most excited about! You’ll see a few of these around my house soon. :)

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

The last time we were here it was raining so it felt like such a treat to get a gorgeous sunny day!

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

The boys and El had fun chilling on the grass and playing games while Ad and I were shopping. A beautiful day at Magnolia!

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

The next morning we ate at Magnolia Table. We haven’t been there before! We went around 10 am so it was their brunch menu and it was AMAZING. There are about 10 things on the menu I want to try so we will definitely go again next time we visit! Excited to try the dinner menu too. If you are planning a trip make sure to book the restaurant early! Spots fill up quickly. I got our reservation about a week in advance.

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

That afternoon we went on a tour of Baylor with our favorite Baylor tour guide. :) So funny because when Kenny and I were visiting colleges with the kids we always said to each other that we could totally see Addison giving tours one day. It’s so her! She loves people, she loves getting involved in school activities and public speaking comes so easily to her. Feels full circle to see her working as one now! We didn’t tell the other people on the tour we were her family because we didn’t want to throw her off her game.. ha. I tried to not stand too close to her because I’ve been told we kinda look alike. ;) Ellie got to see her dorm later that day and we took some of her cute friends to dinner. So fun being in her world for a few days! Proud of my college girls and all the new fun things they are doing.

Trip to Magnolia (Sunny Side Up)

Good-bye Waco! Until next time.

Sunday Edit – Last Day for Spring Sale!

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a good weekend! We spent most of Saturday cleaning our garage. Not exactly a fun way to spend the day but it was long overdue and feels so good to have done! I still need to go through some cupboards but we got everything off the floor and Kenny mopped so we’re calling it a success. Then we went to a wedding and it was so beautiful! A fun and productive day. :)

The Amazon spring sale is still going through today! Sharing favorites on sale below along with your favorites from the week. Enjoy your day!

1 – PALM SPRINGS

Palm Springs (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Saturday! Sharing a bit of this and that to kick off the weekend. I hope your Saturday is off to a good start! Last Saturday we were in Palm Springs and to be honest I’m wishing we never left! It was so warm and sunny! Came back to a cold and cloudy week here in SD. It was a quick trip but felt good to get away for a few days.

Palm Springs (Sunny Side Up)

Not a bad place to spend the weekend!

Palm Springs (Sunny Side Up)

We took Kole and some friends for an early birthday celebration. Kole turns 15 this Sunday! I can’t believe I’m saying that. I know some of you have been with me since he was born! Love this kid too much. Rap music was blasting the whole two hour drive there and the car was full of noise and laughing and energy. On the way home 3 of the 4 boys were asleep. The sign of a successful trip! Ha.

Palm Springs (Sunny Side Up)

Boys had fun swimming and playing ping pong/pool and going to the gym at the resort. I planted myself and enjoyed this view. It felt so good to sit and do nothing for a while. How often do we do that? Definitely not enough.

Palm Springs (Sunny Side Up)

Made me so excited for warm weather and summer! This cute bikini top is on sale! It’s so comfortable and cute. I linked the bottoms I wore with it along with other favorites that I took on this trip. (Fits true to size – I’m wearing xs on top and a small bottom.)

2 – FRUIT BOWLS

Fruit Bowls (Sunny Side Up)

{Citrus Wall Art}

When your morning snack matches your art. :)

Fruit Bowls (Sunny Side Up)

I love this rattan fruit bowl! I’ve been keeping it full of cuties next to my art and smile seeing this little set up every morning.
Fruit Bowls (Sunny Side Up)
I ordered this tiered fruit tray to keep in our pantry but it’s so pretty in person I’ve been leaving it out on the counter near my window! I love using fruit in fun bowls and trays to brighten up the kitchen. Especially in the spring/summer. This tiered tray would be pretty for hosting too! It could hold candy or desserts or toppings for a taco bar, etc.

3 – CUTE KEYS

Lemons (Sunny Side Up)

I tossed my keys on the passenger seat in my car seat the other day driving and happened to have my little lemon coin purse out too. Just like my snack matching my art I had to stop and take a pic! Everyday moments can be so beautiful. :) Isn’t this little lemon fruit charm adorable!? I sent one to my mom too.. we both have a thing for lemons. It comes in a watermelon, cherries, orange, banana.. all adorable! You can add them to bags and keys. So fun. I’ve been using these cute lulu wristlets for keychains since they came out a couple of years ago and haven’t lost my keys since! SO handy. I keep my main credit cards in my phone case and the rest in these cute lulu pouches. Then I keep cash in my lemon coin pouch. All I need in my purse is what’s here and my little bag of lipgloss! I have been working on downsizing. Ha.

4 – EASTER BOOK/BASKET IDEAS

Easter Book (Sunny Side Up)

I mentioned this fun activity book for teens for Easter.. I ordered them for my kids last year and they were a hit so I ordered more for this year and a couple for cousins. It’s full of word searches, mazes, puzzles.. my kids have always loved stuff like this. Probably because I had them do these types of things so much when they were young and bored! The teacher in me would always direct them to a puzzle book. :) It’s a cute basket stuffer! If you need other basket ideas for teens I rounded up some fun ideas below in a folder for boys and one for girls although most items work for either! A lot of the items are on sale through this weekend too!

5 – AROUND THE HOUSE

Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)

A few snapshots around my house! This little round tray made such a cute addition! I’ve had it on a few shelves and it just adds a little something extra when you’re styling.
Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)
This is where my eucalyptus stems landed this spring! I shared another way to style them in yesterday’s post. This vase is gorgeous! I’ve had it a while too and I think it sold out in this large size but it always comes back in stock. The smaller size is also beautiful!
Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)
Cutest little gold bunnies!
Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)

{Bunny Figurines, Simplicity Book, AD at 100 Book, Wall Art (similar), Textured Pot, Woven Baskets, Potted Leaf Tree}

I needed a little something to set on these books.. perfection!

Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)

I’ve had this little topiary for years now and it always adds such a cute touch of spring when I pull it out!

Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)

All just little changes that are making things feel like spring around here!

6 – LUNCH IDEAS

Home Updates (Sunny Side Up)

Ok.. sorry if the title of this one threw you off and you thought I was actually going to share good lunch ideas. Clearly my friends and I are in NO position to help on that.. ha! This recent text thread just made me laugh! When I answered that I ate popcorn and bacon for lunch (microwave bacon btw.. I’m not over here frying anything up) I didn’t expect my friends to be doing the same! Made me feel a little less guilty.

So enjoy a cookie, toast or some jelly beans on us this weekend! #momlunch I have a feeling we’ll all survive.

p.s. Don’t forget the Diet Coke. ;)

Spring Home Updates & Sale

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Friday! Sharing a couple of home updates from the week! I’ve been styling all the things for spring. Makes me so happy! Now we just need our sunshine back. It has been so cloudy and cold this week! I’m loving this pretty vase for spring (included in the Amazon sale!). I added my pink tulips and a bunny and now my spring coffee table is complete!

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

I’ve learned that I have to have a low arrangement on this table or Kenny can’t see the TV and off it goes each night when we watch our shows (drives me crazy!). This vase and tulips pass the height test. Barely! But they pass. His remote and computer charger are safely tucked away in the fabric boxes (drives him crazy when he can’t find them!). This coffee table decor not only looks pretty for spring, but also keeps our marriage in tact.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up){Vase, Fake Tulips, Glass Bunny, Coffee Table, Lemon Book, Woven Tray, Made for Living Book, Fabric Box (similar)}

Mission accomplished. ;)

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up){Lamp, Chair

{Vase, Fake Tulips, Glass Bunny, Coffee Table, Lemon Book, Woven Tray, Made for Living Book, Fabric Box (similar), Scalloped Plate, Pink Candle, Candle Snuffer}

I have been sitting in front of this fireplace all week! I don’t think I would survive in a seriously cold climate because we hit low 60’s and I’m wearing layers and pulling out my laptop in front of the fire to work.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up){Concrete Planter, Artificial Flowers, Accent Rug, Flower Holder, Fake Tulips}

I need to finish my front porch this weekend but I did spruce up the dutch door on the side of our porch that opens into the mudroom! It was so dusty/dirty so I swept the porch and wiped this door clean and things instantly felt better.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

{Concrete Planter, Artificial Flowers, Accent Rug}

My pretty white flowers are also part of Amazon’s spring sale! I have 12 in this pot for a full look. This is the medium sized pot in the set of 3 and it’s the perfect size for this corner.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

{Concrete Planter, Artificial Flowers, Accent Rug}

Then I laid down this cute sage green accent rug (bought it back in December and I finally pulled it out!).

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up){Flower Holder, Fake Tulips}

But my favorite part is this cute flower holder I hung on the door!

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

{Flower Holder, Fake Tulips}

Black and white stripes for the win! Again. :) SO cute with white tulips inside right!? I bunched up a dish towel in the bottom to give the tulips a little height and love the way it looks. Colorful flowers would be pretty too!

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

{faux eucalyptus stems, santorini vase, ceramic footed bowl/similar bowl here, tondo rectangle serving board}

Sharing a few more home favorites that are part of the Amazon sale! I pulled these eucalyptus stems out this week.. love them. I have them in my kitchen window in a different vase at the moment that I’ll share soon! I like the way they effortlessly lay off to the side of any vase you put them in.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

Checkered Runner

My new hallway rugs are on sale! I put this same runner in my upstairs laundry room and love it there too.

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

Checkered Runner, Faux Wreaths, Faux Black Olive Tree, Concrete Planter

Spring Updates (Sunny Side Up)

Sharing my Easter table this year! My girls will both be home for Easter so looking forward to a fun weekend with the family and a beautiful home cooked meal! Or take-out on a beautiful table. I’ll let you pick which one you think will be the case at our house. ;)

I was feeling soft pinks this year and love how it turned out. I used my pink magnolia branches for the centerpiece (they were so pretty for all of February too and are on sale right now! The vase holding them is also on sale.) I’m going to just leave my table set up through Easter because we can have dinner here a few times before and it’s pretty to walk by every day!

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I ordered these eyelet plates last year from Anthro and this year I’m obsessed with their white bow plates! Anthro always has such cute plate options. I knew I wanted bunny ear napkin rings for Easter and found so many cute options I couldn’t decide so I ordered 3 to try! The first option is this burlap set. Adorable and they match my chargers.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

These cute white porcelain bunny napkin rings are option 2. So pretty with the gold inside the ears! I love them with white plates.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

And option #3 is this pretty gold set. All so cute right!? I still can’t decide! Which is your favorite? I’m leaning towards the white. Or the jute. Or the gold. ;)

If choosing which bunny ear napkin holder we wanted to use for our Easter table was the biggest decision we had to make in a day life would be pretty good right!? Ha.

{Flower Napkin Rings, Silverware (similar), Linen Napkins, Plates (similar),Blush Taper Candles, Bunny Candle Holders, Glass Bunny, Cake Stand}

Ok ONE more napkin ring option! I ordered these flower napkin rings for the wedding shower I’m hosting in a couple of weeks. Aren’t they pretty!? Love these too! After Easter I’ll switch the bunny napkin rings to these and my table will be set for spring/summer!

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up){Bunny Napkin Rings, Silverware (similar), Linen Napkins, Plates (similar),Blush Taper Candles, Bunny Candle Holders, Glass Bunny, Cake Stand}

I love this pretty scalloped cake stand and the bunny candle holders I shared earlier.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I haven’t switched up much in my dining room. Same lamps and art but I did add this beautiful handwoven tray a few months ago. It’s large and so gorgeous! Definitely a splurge but one of those items that I know will look beautiful in many spots in my home for years to come!

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)

I was going to add some grass and eggs and bunnies but it’s so pretty on its own that I might just leave it as is for a while!

I took all of these pictures and then realized I forgot to set out the drinking glasses! Ha. I hope my guests aren’t thirsty. ;) At least I remembered the eggs and bunnies.

Easter Table (Sunny Side Up)Acrylic Vase Flower Holder, Pink Glassware

Last year I used these same plates and chargers and napkins and my pretty acrylic vase full of tulips for a centerpiece. AND these are my pink glasses that I’m using again this year.

Just picture these glasses on my current Easter table and I’ll feel better. ;)

Now I need all of you to give me some ideas for the meal. ;)

Sunday Edit

Happy Sunday! I hope you find some time to rest today! So many pretty dresses and fun spring finds in today’s round-up. I also found some cute affordable sandals and Easter decor. (Also my bracelet in the first collage is on sale!) I can’t believe Easter is right around the corner. How are we already over half way through March!? I feel like I just got my Christmas decor put away. Probably because I kind of did. Ha. ;)

Have a great start to your week!

Saturday 6

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Happy Saturday from our trail! Everything is so beautiful right now from all the rain we got last week! I hope things are getting warmer for all of you too.. sunshine brings out the best in all of us. :) On to today’s Saturday 6!

1 – EASTER BASKET FOR FRIENDS/TEENS

Bunny Basket (Sunny Side Up)

Easter Basket Gifts (ALL SOURCES)

This bunny basket is the cutest! I put together some fun little Easter baskets for my college girls and thought I would share what I’m giving them in case these ideas help with baskets you’re giving! I’m also thinking about giving a few of these bunny baskets to friends with some of these same products and a little chocolate. I tied a pink ribbon at the top and it makes a perfect gift for any loved one! (I linked the ribbon I used too along with some similar baskets in case this one sells out!)

Best Beauty Products (Sunny Side Up)

These are the items inside – all products I personally love and beauty best sellers on Amazon! Plus some cute heart bookmarks and my favorite Amazon bracelets. You can’t go wrong with this line up. :)

Bunny Basket (Sunny Side Up)

It fit perfectly! I still need to put something together for Kole.. boys are so much harder right!? Especially teen boys. I’ll come up with something and share it when I do but if you have ideas for me please share!

2 – ORGANIZED BATHROOM DRAWERS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

My bathroom drawers were next level bad and so overdue for a clean out! I usually clean and organize all bathrooms every January but I didn’t this year because my girls were home on break so long. I had so many new products piling up inside and finally just dumped everything on my bathroom floor so I could get things under control!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I washed out all the organizers which felt amazing! I’ve been trying this stone drying mat lately (going through a dish drying mat phase at the moment.. ha). It’s SO good! For starters I don’t mind leaving it out on my counter because I like the look of it. It’s heavy and nice but the best part is how quick it dries! Water hits it and instantly evaporates. It rolls up easily to store too. I still love and use this one also, but it’s not big enough for when I need to wash a lot of dishes.

Sidenote: Remember this cute faux plant I bought and shared last spring? It’s back in stock! It sold out so quickly so I had to share it before it’s gone again. This is a horrible picture so I’ll try to share a better one soon. It’s CUTE.

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

Organized Bathroom Drawers – SOURCES

Looking so much better!

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

{Favorite Hair Brush}

When I’ve lived with clutter inside my drawers for a while I crave simplicity and LESS. I have a lot of products I’m rotating and trying in my bottom drawer, but my top every day drawers are holding just the essentials and it feels so good! I won’t bore you will all of my organized drawers.. AGAIN. Ha. You can see what they all look like in this post along with organizer sources!

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

{Large Pill Organizer}

Also sidenote.. I started taking some fish oil supplements with my daily vitamin since I eat zero fish and the pills are so big! I couldn’t find an organizer that held them well until I found this one. It comes in other colors too! A random good find.

Organized Bathroom Drawers (Sunny Side Up)

25 Piece Organizers

I gave my powder bathroom drawers a quick clean out too! Kole uses this drawer in the morning on his way out the door. I also added all the toothbrushes we’ve collected from dentist visits. Perfect to have on hand for guests who stay over! I used the organizers I shared in this blog post. LOVE them because they don’t move! They have grips on the bottom. I’m very temped to switch my bathroom organizers over to these but I need longer sizes. (Kole likes this hair paste.. there’s a teen boy Easter basket idea for you!) ;)

3 – BATHROOM RE-FRESH

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Skin Care Favorites, Scalloped Towel, Makeup Brush Holder, Bathroom Counter Organizer

After I cleaned out my drawers I added some cute things for a little bathroom re-fresh! I had an organizer in the middle of my bathroom counter but Kenny kept using it too so I decided to try these little corner organizers for us so we can each have our own. I was mid organizing when I took this picture so I needed to add more, but it’s mostly to hold my favorites from Colleen Rothschild that I use daily. I’ve shared these items many times before and have been using them for years! My favorites are all linked HERE and for a short time you can get 20% off (on any products on her website) using the code ERIN20 at checkout! If you’re only going to try one thing try the Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream that is the first item I linked. It’s SO GOOD! Gets rid of dark circles and tired eyes. I love the complete eye cream too. And her Vitamin C! And the Sheer Renewal Cream (I put it on in the am before makeup). You’ve heard me talk about the hair mask for years (I love giving that as a gift too!).

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Peek in my shower to see my beloved hair mask. Two of my friends gave me the Salt & Stone body wash and Rituals shower gel for my birthday. I’m loving them both! I’ve used Rituals before.. it smells amazing.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I added this cute rug too to match the towels. :)

4 – SPRING COFFEE TABLE

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Real Touch Fake Tulips

I’m still working on my coffee table and while I don’t know if I’ll add tulips on this table I do know these will be in my home somewhere! They are such a good faux tulip option! What I love about these is that the tulip bulbs are different sizes giving them a more realistic look. I ordered them in white and loved them so much I also ordered some in pink and purple. I’ll show you how I’m using them soon!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

New favorite coffee table book! All things LEMON.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)Coffee Table, Lemon Book, Woven Tray, Made for Living Book, Fabric Boxes, Fabric Boxes (similar)

I got these pretty fabric boxes and the woven tray for Christmas this year and still need to style the tray for spring!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

Faux Cherry Blossom Branch, Rattan Vase (similar)

I put together this pretty arrangement with some long time favorite branches. They are so beautiful! They require no styling and just effortlessly hang to the side. Spring perfection! Not an option keeping them on our coffee table since we wouldn’t be able to see the TV.. ha.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

They landed up on my fireplace mantel. :)

5 – PILLOW LOVE

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

For Christmas I also splurged on this pillow cover I had my eye on for over a year! I don’t like spending a lot on pillows because I enjoy switching them up often. Target is usually my go-to pillow spot, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this one. The pattern was just too perfect for spring!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)Pillow Cover, Pillow Cover Lookalike

Last week I was looking for some other home items on Amazon and look what I found!? It’s a total lookalike for a fraction of the price! I felt such a mix of happiness and annoyance that I spent so much and didn’t need to! I love this pattern so much that I bought the Amazon set for my front living room in a larger size.

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

You can see that the tone is a little more pink/red than the other pillow which actually works well with this fun pink I’m bringing in. I love them!

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I need to switch these two bottom throws for spring colors but I just added this cream throw on top and wanted to share it as another fun option for this time of year!

6 – SPRING TOPS

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

{Striped Polo ShirtAnessa High Waist Jeans, Rag & Bone Sneakers, Butterfly Necklace}

I got some cute new things from Madewell for my birthday this year and this shirt is such a favorite! It’s relaxed and casual and green and striped. No surprise it came home with me. :) I ordered it in the ivory and black too! I sized down to a xxs.. Madewell sizes run big so I always size down one. Also my beloved favorite jeans are on sale! This light wash pair I wear more than any other pair of jeans I own which is saying a lot because I have an obsession with jeans and own more than I should. ;)

Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)

I also fell hard for this cute muscle tee and have a feeling it will be my outfit on repeat all spring and summer! I couldn’t pick a color and know I will wear one of these at least weekly.

Striped Polo Shirt

So cute right!? Fitted but it gathers on the sides so it has a casual not too fitted look. It’s lightweight so perfect for warm weather and I love the little detail on the neck and sleeve.
Saturday 6 (Sunny Side Up)
I also got this cute long sleeve tee and didn’t get a selfie in it but I’m wearing it in this pic with Ad! So fun having her here last week for my birthday. :) The top is such a good fit. I wanted it in blue and green too but then thought oh my word.. I can’t buy EVERY top I love in ALL the colors. Ha! So I went with Ivory and forced myself to move on. Ad wanted an over sized leather jacket to wear to an upcoming concert and we found such a cute one on Amazon! She’s wearing it in this picture. Funny because we looked at more expensive options but really just liked the Amazon jacket the best. It was exactly what she was looking for and only $60! Major score. Kole snapped this pic of us at Chili’s – Ad and Kole love it there. :)

Enjoy your weekend! And sorry this blog post felt like a lot of rambling and random favorites. More like a Saturday 60 instead of a Saturday 6! I applaud you if you’re still with me at this point! I’ll try to cut it back next week.

Same way I try to cut back on buying shirts that are green or have stripes.

;)
