Park City/Organized Water Bottle Cupboard

So today’s post is a little random! A few pics from our quick trip to Park City followed by my organized water bottle cupboard. Because that’s what we’ve been up to lately. That’s worth sharing anyway. :) Ad had a day off for fall break so we flew in to Park City and met her for a quick family weekend. We love escaping San Diego to get a taste of fall this time of year! Park City was beautiful and we had a great trip.

This pic was not planned but El snapped it of me accidentally going down the escalator in the airport and it showed my favorite luggage and bag so well I had to share it! I’m seriously thinking about switching all of our luggage to BEIS luggage for Christmas this year. I have loved my Beis suitcases so much. This bag is a favorite for travel too.

We got family pictures taken while we were in Park City too! I just shopped our closets quick this year for our clothes and only bought one new item (the shirt Ad has on) to tie in Kole’s maroon jacket. :)

We went on a few hikes.

The mountains and trees were absolutely beautiful!

We spent some time in SLC and had to swing by this cute pumpkin house along with a few other well known spots. :)

Other than that we just hung out in the hot tub, went out to eat and watched movies! This stage with our kids is so much fun. It’s like Kenny and I have 3 young adult besties we love spending time with. Pay off for all the hard years!

In other news I have been so motivated to get things organized! I always tend to kick into high gear when I know Christmas is right around the corner. I add so much Christmas decor that I feel like I need less of everything else.. ha. Last week I decided to donate a few water bottles which quickly led to a total reorganization of my entire kitchen. (If you give a mouse a cookie..) Harry Potter was on and I stayed up so late lost in my organizing. It was a good night. :)

This is how it looks now. YAY. I moved all of our cups to a different cupboard, donated water bottles we don’t need and now everything I kept has a place. Mission accomplished! Thank you Mr. Potter. :)

Sidenote.. we love and use these water bottles the most! The perfect size, easy to grab, they fit in the holder on our bikes and are easy to pack on hikes.

We’ve had the water bottle organizer for years and have loved it but I never had a good solution for our Stanleys. This lazy susan is perfect! I added the Stanleys we use daily and put seasonal Stanleys we don’t use as much on the top cupboard.

But my favorite solution is this straw organizer! Where has it been all of my life!? It was so easy to stick on the cupboard (peels off easily too) and it’s a perfect solution for straws. I love that it also holds our water bottle scrubber because I’ve never had a good spot for that.

I added this little wall mount organizer to hold straw caps. Found my ghosts for October! Like I said.. a place for everything. Always makes for a happy makeover doesn’t it!?

Speaking of happy! Ahhh! Christmas is arriving in stores. I’m having so much fun looking at the fun new decor popping up everywhere! Sharing favorites below along with your favorites from last week. A little late because of our family trip. Have the best day!
