Happy Monday! Kicking off a new week after a fun weekend with family in town! Lots of Padre Games, pool time, late night movies, take out and cousin time.

I hope you’re having a good July so far! It’s the last true month of summer before all things back to school hits in August. It’s going by way too quickly! I love a good white tee in the summer.. it’s just the perfect go-to closet staple this time of year! I needed a few new white tops because the white tees I’ve been wearing for years are worn out. I ordered LOTS to try (10 total) and thought I’d share my favorites with you! Four of the ten I didn’t like at all and didn’t even photograph.. the six tops below are all great options! They all fit true to size (I’m wearing xs in all of them) and I’m keeping 4 of the 6. I shared which 4 at the end of this post. :)

This first tee is a little more feminine with lace trim and a deep V neck and it’s so cute! It’s a cropped style and works well with high waisted shorts and jeans. These shorts are so cute too! It’s finally getting warm in San Diego after gloomy May/June are behind us and I’ve been living in them.

I actually like this top so much I bought it in the navy pattern too and wore it on the 4th of July.

This baby tee is a great option. I thought it would be shorter (a cropped fit) but it was actually regular length. It’s thick and not see through at all. A really good white tee for a really good price!

This a such a good ribbed tee! Definitely keeping this one. I like the wide collar and cap sleeve. Comfortable and flattering!

This top has a looser, cropped fit. I love boxy tops like this but always feel like they look best with a little front tuck! I like the longer sleeves and loose casual fit to mix things up with this option.

Ok absolutely love this shirt EXCEPT (one except!) it’s too long on me. I’m short and have a short torso so it’s a bit too long, but other than that I absolutely love it. If you are taller OR short but like longer tees this is such a good option! It’s ribbed and very comfortable and flattering. It also comes in other colors.

Ok tee #6 and this is my favorite of all the basic styles! Absolutely love the fit of this! It’s flattering, a great length, thick but not too thick, and a good sleeve length. I also love the detail on the back.

The only two I’m returning out of the six tops I shared are #5 the Open Edit top (only because it’s too long on me) and #2 the Cotton On tee (only because I like the Madewell option better that is so similar!) So I’m keeping top #1, #3, #4 and my favorite.. #6. Lots of new white tops for the win! Mission accomplished. :)
Plan for the next two weeks of July – first I’m gearing up for another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My next blog post will include my favorites in each category and I’ll share the items I’m MOST excited about this year! I’ve been shopping this sale for years and feel like I have a good understanding of what is worth buying and what just isn’t. I’m seeing a lot of cute things I’m excited to try on and I’ll definitely be stocking up on long time favorites and getting some early holiday shopping done. I’m also hoping to spend the next two weeks organizing a few spots in my home! I always start decorating for fall in August and I really want every room and closet to feel somewhat organized and cleaned out before the ‘BER’ months hit. A big goal for sure so it’s time to get to work! In-between lots of time in the pool because.. balance. :)
