Ahhhh summer. I hope yours is flowing smoothly so far! Sharing a few pics from my phone of life lately! Summer favorites and family. We are easing into a slower pace and aren’t mad about it one bit. It feels so good to have my kids all home! This cute shell bag and hat have been coming everywhere with me. Summer favorites this year!

Actually my hat has been a summer favorite for a lot of years. :)

We took El and Kole on a quick trip to Palm Springs after El’s graduation and these are a few more summer favorites that came with us!

Personal coolers (scroll down to see all the cute options!)
These mini personal coolers are my latest obsession. Perfect to take a few drinks to the beach or pool! Add some ice and your drinks stay nice and cold. I can’t believe I’m just discovering them.

My girls are obsessed with this

We had a great trip even though it’s not an easy feat getting this one to stop working. I was about to toss his computer into the pool!

I love pulling in to these pretty flowers every day. Sorry.. I know I’ve already shared them a time or 20! They make me so happy.

So does my watermelon porch. Lots of color going on in our front yard at the moment!

My strawberry mat came! Using it in front of the mudroom door and it’s so cute.

I came across this summer porch from a few years ago and thought I would share it too!

Addison kicked off her summer with a two week trip to Africa. She went with a group of pre-med students from her college and they were able to work in the hospital and in schools with the kids. While she was there she turned 20! El and I wanted her to know we didn’t forget about her birthday so we picked her up at the airport in style. :)

It was a happy reunion! We all laughed and cried hearing about her trip. The sweetest stories with the kids she worked with. I’m so grateful she got to experience it all. Also grateful she made it home safe! It’s hard enough having kids in different states. When they leave the country without us I feel like I’m holding my breath until they get back!

Unfortunately for Ad after a quick birthday celebration and couple days to recover from her trip she had to head to the hospital for knee surgery.

The same knee surgery I had about 8 years ago. It’s a genetic issue and Ad is the only one of my kids who got it from me which doesn’t surprise any of us. Seems she got a lot of me passed down! Ha. At the time of my surgery El was in high school and busy with dance so Ad took over and didn’t leave my side! She came home from school every day and took care of me. My surgery recovery is when I first showed her Gilmore Girls and we’ve watched that series about a hundred times together since. So this summer I’m going to take care of her like she took care of me. Happily passing the terminator knee brace down along to the next generation.

I got her home from surgery and the ice machine going and then on Sunday it was time to put her and Kenny down for their afternoon nap. Baseball always seems to do the trick! So if you need us for the next few weeks we’ll be over here enjoying dinner outside and LOTS of good movies.
Gilmore Girls we stay awake for. ;)
Below are a few things I’m loving and your favorites from last week!
