Past Christmas Posts

**If you are new to my blog and found this post from Pinterest (hello and welcome!) click here for the Christmas ideas I just posted for 2012.  It includes all of these ideas plus several more from last year.  Christmas will be here before we know it!  Woot Woot!  Happy planning.  :)
Kicking off the week with my Christmas wrap station made me SO excited for the holidays!  I know we haven’t carved the turkey yet (excited for that too!) but December is upon us.  We have busted out the Chipmunks Christmas CD at my house which means it’s official.  Time to celebrate!  A couple of days ago I got the girls out of the tub and told them to hurry and get dressed and in the car because I needed to run a quick errand.  I went and got Kole dressed, put him in the car and found these two…

in their Christmas dresses, wearing Santa hats, and playing with their Christmas Olivia pigs.  Guess I’m not the only one who is excited for this time of year.  :)

I thought I’d round up some of my past Christmas posts to share today for those of you who are new to my blog.  It’s always fun to share ideas and get a jump start on holiday planning!  Just click on the link to see the full post.  For those of you who have read my blog for a while and remember these posts, feel free to move along to the next blog on your list and have a happy Wednesday!  :)

Excited to make new memories this year.  :)

  2. Your posts ALWAYS inspire me with all of the creative ideas. I love seeing older pictures of your family and how much has changed each year. This is going to be one magical season for your kiddos!

  3. Oh Baby, I can’t wait to make a batch of Pretzel Hugs! I even have the storekeeper at our little town store trained to start stocking Hugs in early November.

  4. Everything is just BEAUTIFUL and I am *so* loving the pretzel hugs! And thanks Erin for the necklace info a few weeks ago – I popped over the The Limted and now that fabulous necklace is around my neck as I am sitting in my office typing you this note :) Have a great day!

  5. Love the pretzel hugs. A thought, you could do blue m&m’s for people who celebrate Hannukah. These look so easy and cute, I have to give it a try. I love chocolate and pretzel together!!

  6. loved this post!! I really love your idea with the past xmas card hanging with your garland on the staircase. Such a cute idea!! Your home looks so cozy for the holidays!

Oh, and I may have just pinned something : )

  7. Thanks everyone!

Mama T – I’m so glad you found the necklace! You’ll love it. I wear mine all the time!

Jen – That is a great idea!! Thanks!

  8. Many great ideas! I love the Christmas card idea. I actually cut mine to fit in albums, which works fine, but this is cute and a way to sort of display them better. I don’t scrapbook but that idea didn’t look too hard.

I also am no stranger to decorating for Christmas (and every other season) but your post last year was inspiring. I think I may cut back a little and keep it more simple. I really love the clean look and just simple displays you have. I have a new bigger house to decorate so this is the year to make a change!

I am a new reader and mother to 3 the same ages as yours and I LOVE YOUR BLOG! Thank you for sharing your family and ideas!

  9. What a fun idea to bring back all your Christmas posts! I’m glad you did so I could be reminded of your cute photo garland! I really want to do that with my cards, hopefully I can manage it this year! And, I have an official question for you (just like a regular ol’ fan of yours!) About your garland: did you buy it with all of the decor or did you add your own accents to it? Mine is just plain jane green garland with lights, I need to make it cute with some berries and cute stuff like yours. There you go, another post idea. :)

Oh, and LOVE that the girls were all set to go in the Christmas attire. They make me smile.

  10. Hey BFF, I just had to let you know that I drove 35 minutes into our nearest “big city” today just so I could buy Hershey’s Hugs, Holiday M&Ms, Pretzels, and 6 new Christmas books.

And now I’m listening to Michael Buble’s Christmas CD on Spotify.

This is all your fault. :)

  11. Oh the pretzel hugs, they are a big holiday fave around here too. I think I first saw them on Becky Higgins blog a few years ago & have been making them ever since….but have you ever tried making them with rolos instead of hugs? They don’t have the same look without the stripes but oh my gosh, they. are. heavenly. Pretzels and chocolate AND caramel just can’t be beat ;)

I’ve always loved your basket of Christmas books for the kids….such a sweet idea & a lovely collection you have there!

Christmas is making me giddy too, I’ve been spending way too much time the last few days writing (and re-writing) gift lists….all the name of being super organized this year, of course :)

  12. Love all of your Christmas traditions! We love Christmas hugs around here. Last year I snagged a bunch of those Christmas Tree glass containers when they were on sale and I can’t wait to fill them with hugs to deliver to our sweet neighbors! Look forward to your Christmas posts this year.

  13. I love the idea of using the pretzel hugs in the tree jars! Just adorable! Any chance you remember how many batches it took to fill the jars in the pic? I would need to do about 12 jars…and have no idea how many batches I would need to make.
