Our routine at the patch

We check out the year’s crop.

Visit with the locals.

Select our pumpkins.

Pose for a picture.

And another one.

And if Kenny’s in a good mood…maybe for one more.

Then we buy our tickets. Those magical, little, orange tickets.

And we wait in line – only for a minute, but it feels like forever – for what we really came for.

This.

And this.

And this.
And if Kenny’s in a good mood…maybe a little of this.
Another enjoyable year at the Pumpkin Patch! Only 364 days to wait until we go again.
xoxo, Erin

  1. I don’t think it is possible to read an Erin post without a smile on your (my) face?! How do you do it?…fun times! Where is that place? never mind. Do not tell me. If I don’t know…can’t go.

  2. Oh, how fun that all looks! Way fun family outing. Dad and I will have to come down sometime….I want to try the slide :)
Love the picture of Ellie coming down that slide and Addison in the swing. You can see why the girls get so excited to go to the Pumpkin Patch every year. Lucky girls!

  3. Oh Erin I have the saddest story! Eden has been talking about pumpkins and Halloween and punkin’ patches for weeks! She was dying to go! So the night finally arrived. Butch announced we were going and she went screaming into the car. Smiles and giggles all the way there. Screaming some more when she saw the big pumpkin all lit up and we parked….walked in….and they were CLOSING!!!!! All the rides were shut down! My heart ripped in half while Eden ran around the pumpkins screaming and then I had to tell her it was closed and we had to leave.Worst nightmare.

But, on a cheerier note we are going back tomorrow night.

    Is Halloween over yet?

  4. How Fun! You got some great pics, love them all! And love the girls shirts too. Way cute. That looks like such a ginormous and totally fun pumpkin patch!

  5. Holy cow your pumpkin patch looks fun. Our pumpkin picking is at the grocery store. We have nothing like that here. The girls looked like they were having a great time! Way cute pictures!

  6. You have the cutest blog of anyone I know. I love looking at your darling pictures. It looks like you’re having a lot of fun. Kiss the kids and tell Kenny hi. Love you all!

  7. “And if Kenny is in a good mood”. So funny and so true how so much of our fun centers around if our man is up to it. But hey, they make it or break it, so keep ’em happy right? Another experiment in darlingness from you!

  8. Hi Erin,
I love the photos on your blog. How do you get them so big, and two of them side-by-side? I have blogger, too, but can’t do that with my photos. What are you doing differently?
If you have time to share how you get your photos like that, please contact me via email: mommy9times@aol.com
    Thanks!

  9. Ok, we haven’t even bought one freaking pumpkin this year. No decorations either. So glad that you are doing enough celebrating to make up for our lack of it.

    Can’t wait for Thanksgiving!
