You are awesome. Just thought you ought to know. BTW, thanks for the organization binder idea! It saved my life this week and pulled me from a serious rut. My husband thanks you, too (kind of -- not so much on the part where I put him to work). Our house is considerably nicer and much more organized. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you for being so honest! Sometimes I read all these blogs and you ladies seem to have everything together and perfect and clean and fun with money to spare....even though I know in my head no one's life is perfect sometimes it's hard NOT to compare my life with others. Hey girl! We have all been there and had those weeks. The great thing is that we can vent it and know that we won't be judged. It's actually liberating to be able to do that. Don't you always feel better when you get if off your chest? I do.

Just know that every mom who reads this post has been there and felt what you felt. By you opening up you are inspiring other moms to feel ok about opening up. I'm so glad that we live in a day and age where we can talk about our frustrations and not be scared that people will judge us or call us an incompetent mom or wife. Keeping feelings suppressed is not good for anyone.

Also, don't feel guilty or pressured to do Fashion Friday each week. It's a blog and it's suppose to be fun and easy, not an obligation (I know you don't feel like it's an obligation). It takes so much for me to post one recipe for my cooking blog. I have to first, make a new recipe (which can be stressful enough) take photos, then edit them, then write the step by step instructions. You get it. I am now realizing no one is going to be put out if I just post 2 new recipes a week. No one is expecting anything from me. It's me that is setting these expectations. Anyway, if you just even post once a week, I will still check it out! People want to just hear your cute voice and energy!

So sorry you had such a rough week! Ours wasn't much better...sick kids always turn the schedule upside down!! But, I just had to keep telling myself that I should be happy to have her home with me. She'll be off to college next fall, and I know I'll miss those sick days when she relied on mom! It is pouring here, yuck...but it will at least force me to stay in and get things done. Hope your weekend is better!!

Oh Erin, I had so many of those days when my husband was out to sea that I would just put the kids in their rooms and get in the shower and cry. I have to say that it does get better. Little boys are very active at this age. Is there a mothers day out program in your area so you can recharge once a week. That saved me. Tell Ellie Happy Birthday and next week will be better.
