Happy October friends! I can’t believe it’s finally here! Best time of the year. The kids and I were absolutely giddy this morning talking about the next three months. So much to enjoy and it goes by so quickly! We’re going to have to get strategic around here. And gear up for pumpkin spice everything. :) But first I’m kicking off the month with our Happy Halloween porch!
I got an e-mail a few weeks ago from the editor of Women’s Day magazine. It was so sweet. She was letting me know that they had featured my 4th of July Pretzel Hugs. She told me that they loved my blog and if I had any other great recipes to please send them her way and they would consider featuring them in the future.
Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed with life and everything on my to-do list I have a little trick I do that helps. It’s a secret, but I love you all so I’m happy to share my secret with you. Ready for it? Here it is..

Ok. I’ve been organizing up a storm and am ready to share more progress with you today. You all know when I designed my mudroom I decided on closed cabinets to hide the mess. I absolutely love them and will always be so happy with that decision. This room for the most part, always looks clean.
Well! Sorry about the crickets chirping on the blog! I took a quick trip last weekend and last week was tech week for the play my girls are currently in. Busiest week of the process and our family has been living downtown helping with sets, costumes, make-up and the raffle. Now it’s show time and I can’t wait to see my girls perform!
