ALL THINGS CHRISTMAS!!

I’ve been working on my Christmas to-do list.  (SQUEAL!)  Maybe a tad early, but before you know it we will be decking the halls!  I like to be one step ahead on my Christmas planning so that I can enjoy the season with my family as much as possible instead of running around like a crazy person.  Although no matter how prepared I try to be, running around like a crazy person seems inevitable this time of year.  :)  So to help all of you get a jump start on your Christmas planning, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite past Christmas posts.  Everything from my Christmas wrap station, to decor ideas, to Christmas card ideas, to gift ideas, to how to organize your Christmas decor once it’s all said and done.  Just click on the link below each picture for all of the details.  This post is the MOTHER LOAD of all things Christmas.  Bring it on!  And happy planning.  :)

Excited to make new memories this year.  :)

  1. I can’t wait for Christmas!!! I am super excited about doing the, “favorite things,” Party. I am going to start buying everything next weekend. I have been waiting all year to have this party. Fun way to spend time with friends.

Erin, I have a picture overload on my facebook of sweet Finley. You have to go and see. I feel like life has come full circle. I feel so blessed. Thank you for your sweet reply. :)

Thanks for doing this post. I love Christmas and can’t wait!!!

    Take care, Erin.

  2. Erin, have you started playing your Christmas CDs yet?

    Angela, what are gourds?

I love in the US how you decorate your houses for Halloween, Thanksgiving & especially Christmas. You all have brill ideas:)

This has motivated me to re-organize my Christmas decs, something I’ve been meaning to do for ages. One song I’ll be listening to while doing this is Slade (Noddy Holder actually) shouting “IT’s CHRISTMAS.”. ( This was a huge hit in the uk in the ’70’s & Christmas isn’t the same without this song:)

  3. Wow! Thanks Erin! This is great! You are SO organized. I love, love, love your gift wrap station and I am trying to figure out where I can so one in my house :)

  4. Thanks everyone!

Cathy – can’t wait to check the pics out when I get a second today!

Shari – not skipping over anything! Just trying to be one step ahead of the game… :)

  5. I think my heart just skipped a beat when I saw your post title!! Thank you for putting this all in one place for us hopeless Christmas romantics : )

  6. I always love your Christmas posts!

Ironically enough I was going back through some of them a couple of weeks ago to get some ideas while I figured out my own Christmas planning for this year. I see some here that I missed though. Thanks for putting them all in one spot :)

  7. Woohoo!! So exciting! :) I want to go and rearrange all my Christmas storage but it would probably be smarter to do it when I’m putting it all away in January :P So many cute ideas – and I’ve used your favourite toy ideas so much already, love them! And desperately want to try a ‘Favourite Things’ party!! And decorate everything, now! :) Thank you for more fun ideas! :)

  8. YEA!! I love hearing from people who are just as excited about Christmas as I am! :)

Julie – I haven’t started with the Christmas music yet. I’m desperately trying to hold off until after Halloween but I don’t know if I’ll make it! :)

  9. Wahoo Christmas!! I was listening to Christmas music today (A Very She & Him Christmas) by Zooey Deschanel. Yes I realize I’m a little crazy, but it makes me happy!

You can post Christmas stuff as early as you want. I’ll be reading.

You are awesome and I love all your organizing posts. Organizing is my favorite hobby and stress reliever and your blog is one of my favorites.

  10. My friend and I are thinking of doing a Favorite Things party this year too! I just love that idea. I’ve been trying to put off thinking about Christmas this year because I do tend to go a bit crazy, but alas, time waits for no one.

  11. Great minds think alike ! I have been thinking of Christmas this week too, and yes listening to my Martha Stewart Christmas cd in my car LOL.
Those candles you chose ( Balsam from Bath & Body works ) are fantastic !! The small size are on sale right now for $5.00 @ Bath & Body works. I LOVE that store, The sales person told me the store will be totally decked out w/ Christmas stuff in a few weeks. I cannot wait!

  12. Love all of your Christmas posts and I can’t wait for Christmas either!! I am a little bummed that we won’t be living in our own home this year for Christmas, but it will be worth it next year!!

You really inspired me to go all the way this year and to make some cute christmascard photo’s with my baby boy. Even though it’s early november I’m all ready preparing.
