A favorite Target find (to-do notepad)

Thanks for all of the sweet comments yesterday!  So much fun hearing from all of you.  Well worth dealing with all of the spam.  :)  I’m popping in quick today to share my new favorite Target find.  Because what fun is a new Target find if you don’t share it with everyone else?

You all know that I love a good to-do list.  My time management binder is never too far out of reach.
Usually I use my sticky notes to organize my “to buy” lists.
I love that I can grab the list and toss it in my purse when I’m heading to a specific store.
Well last week while I was in Target I noticed this fun notepad and had to have it!
So stylish and I love its simplicity.

Two lists: TO BUY and TO DO.  You can tear the page off and tear apart the separate lists if you wanted to take one or both of them with you.  I still use my time management binder most of the time, but once in a while on busy days I have loved jotting down my TO DO’s and TO BUY’s on this little baby.  It even has a place to the side for your check mark {done – check!}.  Could it be any more simple and efficient?  I think not.  GO Target.  Or should I say GO TO Target.  And get one of these notepads.  A very happy purchase indeed.  The end.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
xoxo, Erin

  1. Oh! I love that “to do” and “to buy” list pad! How great is that?!!! Don’t you just LOVE Target?

I’ve recently started using the iPhone app COZI — have you heard of it? Okay, while it’s not a specific “to do” kind of a thing, I still love it because it’s a way I can sync our calendars (my husband and I, and our children) via our smart phones so whenever I put something on the calendar, everyone can see it. ( whoever is synced with our calendar; in our case, our three oldest children who all have smart phones) So for example if my daughter has an SAT test on a specific Saturday, she just puts it on the calendar and it automatically updates so that we can all see it. Or if she has a babysitting job, or something else like that. Or if I put “dinner at Grandma’s” on the calendar, everyone can see it and will know not to make plans on that specific night. It’s a very good family calendar. Perfect for busy families who aren’t all home at the same time to check each other’s schedules.

  2. Hi Erin,
I am so in love with that to do/to buy list. I have a binder but truthfully, I am a visual person and having that piece of paper in front of me on my desk just makes it so simple. Thanks for sharing! I like the iPhone app also. What ever keeps me organized and on time…I am all for it. :-)
I hope you guys have a fun weekend!

  3. Boy, that was a lot easier to leave my comments:). A couple of weeks ago it took me literally about 10 goes. Thank you for changing this Erin.

I like your new picture by the way – the one where it explains who you are.

  4. Katrina – that app sounds so cool! I am patiently waiting for the new iPhone to come out – can’t wait!

Hi Julie! So glad it is easier to leave a comment now! And thanks! It was definitely time for a profile picture update. :)

Holly – that is too funny! HA! I love it. :)

  5. I have used your sticky note idea and love it. So easy to write my list as the week goes and then grab the sticky when I head out the door! Thanks for sharing.

  6. I LOOOOOOVE Target so much! Seriously, one of my favorite parts of moving to a real city has been that we are now located within 1.5 miles of a Target. 1.5 miles. Seriously, it’s AMAZING. LOVE that place!!! : )

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I made a little list of some of my most favorite blogs for inspiring organizing ideas and pictures and tips and I included YOU on the list! It’s meant to be a compliment and I added your button with a link to your blog – you can see it all here. Thanks for providing me with lots of inspiration! : )

  7. Hi, I’ve received a few spam emails in the past few days from someone who was, supposedly, trying to leave a comment.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is this what you meant Erin about wha you had before? If so I’m quite happy to have the robot thingy again :).

  8. That is a really cute notebook! I actually have the financial organizer of that set…it is so fabulous! I insist on doing my budget by hand (it’s really therapeutic for me) and the folders and months and budget layout work great. Go Target! :)
