How we roll around here...

Around here:

we're into barbie dolls and barbie movies...

castles and princesses...

and we really love butterflies.

We also love hair bows and jewelry...

dressing up...

and having tea parties in our pink playroom.

And around here there's always LOTS of chatter and drama.

Well - around here we may just be rolling a different way soon because -

It's a BOY!

We are completely surprised and beyond thrilled! When the ultrasound technician told us it was a boy Kenny and I both started to cry. Then we cried a little more. Then Kenny stopped crying and I cried a little more. And I've pretty much been crying on and off all day long. A boy! It still hasn't sunk in.

So the question now is: what does one do with a boy? We have no idea, but can't wait to find out!

I still don't know what to do with boys and I have 3. Congratulations! I am soooo happy for you.
(I am not exaggerating in ANY way--I seriously don't know boys).

YES!! I knew it! I am so happy for you! Congratulations!!!!

Bring it on Erin!! SOOO excited for you...It's all about balls (seriously all types), GIJoes, Star Wars, Light sabers, Super heroes, guns and all weapons, things that blow up, go fast and require batteries. Then there's the video games, computers and all kinds of loud music. The TV shows...trade in SYTYCD for Myth Busters and Dirty Jobs. Boys ROCK!! They think, look and smell different than the girls, but you love 'em just the same:) It's sweet!

Hooray! Congrats! I felt the same way when we found out our last was going to be a girl. I'm still trying to figure out the hair bow thing. :0)

Congrats!!! That is exactly how I feel if I were to have a girl. I got the boy thing down, but it would be a whole new thing with a girl. I will tell you that boys are so much fun!! My boys just melt my heart. You will love having a little guy around! Congrats again!

YAY!!!! You guys so need a boy! I am SO excited for you! The girls will adore their little brother, and let me tell ya little boys LOVE their Mommas! And Kenny, well Kenny definitely needs a boy, but lets just hope he takes after his Mom a bit more than his dad, a mini Kenny as a teenager...TROUBLE! (So I've heard, from a very reliable source.)

And let me just say, boy clothes have gotten SO much cuter over the last 5 years, so trust me, you'll still love buying clothes just as much, you'll just save $$$ on accessories and shoes big time.
So excited for you! Can't wait to see what the little guy looks like!

Hide your step stools and tools! Now you will have a smidgen of a glance at how we roll at the Scott House...muahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!
Juust kiddn'. Your other friends are right. Little boys do love their moms. Just barely, Mason came running in saying, "mom guess what? I have good news! You're so pretty", thus melting my heart. Plus, your little guy has an advantage at having two older females, he will have an easier time at staying domesticated. CONGRATS on your newest heartbreaker.

YAY! Told you so.

Congrats! Boys are wonderful, you will love this little guy more than you thought possible. Boys truly are special. They are just like girls, except for less complicated, usually. :)

You will be a fab mom of a boy!

Oh, boys are so much fun- you will figure out really quick what to do with him. That really is so exciting. I felt the same way when I found out about Hailey, after 3 boys, I really didn't know what I was going to do with a girl, but somehow you do. Congrats!!

Lacey said...

So excited for you guys!! It will be an adventure for you having a boy, huh? You'll have to tell me how it really is! Because it scares me to have a boy! So glad for you guys!

Congratulations!! Boys are lots of fun, but mine is sooo outnumbered

Congrats! Your barbie dolls will be replaces with light sabers, NERF guns, and swords. Give up the princess dress and make room for the super hero or Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Less drama--more wrestling. Fewer art projects, more bruises, much louder. Oh, it will be so fun.

Congrats on the boy news! I felt the same way when I had a boy, but you will figure it out. It will be new and interesting for all of you. Just don't put him in matching outfits with the girls!!
XOXOXO

Congratulations! Love it! Those were my thoughts exactly -- what do you do with a boy?!!! Haha! There's nothing like a son. Of course, there's nothing like a daughter either... Much love to all 5 of you!
