Fun Mail

I'm not a fan of the mail. Who wants to deal with bills and coupons? Other than the occasional thank you note & my favorite magazines (Creating Keepsakes & Real Simple) I don't much care for the mail and it is Kenny's responsibility to get the mail each night, sort through it, and deal with whatever needs to be dealt with. Except in December of course. :) Is everyone else as excited as I am to be getting Christmas cards!? So fun to see pictures of all of your favorite families and plaster them all over the wall in a great big collage. We started sending Christmas cards out when we had Ellie and I have loved the process every year. I especially love making my cards (although I enjoy it more the years I start working on them BEFORE December as is the case this year!) The two years I didn't make my cards were the years I had a baby under one (no explanation needed). Since I plan to make my blog into a book each year (family scrapbook) I wanted to include pictures of our past Christmas cards. So to those of you who have received these cards, sorry if this is a bit redundant! (You can skip past this post.) If you haven't received a card from us and would like one, let me know and I'll add you to the list! Of course then you'll also have to send one of your cards to me. :)

Gotta go...Kenny and I are watching "Fred Clause" while I work on my cards. Isn't Vince Vaughn great? Love him. Love Christmas cards. Love this time of year. (Have I mentioned that yet?) :)

I ALWAYS LOVE YOUR CARDS. I BETTER GET ONE THIS YEAR TOO. BUT YOU ALSO KNOW ME BETTER THAN TO EXPECT ME TO HAVE ONE IN THE MAIL, I HAVEN'T DONE CARDS SINCE JOSH (MY 8 YEAR OLD) WAS A BABY, SAD ISN'T IT. I THINK ABOUT DOING THEM ALL OF THE TIME, THAT SHOULD REALLY COUNT FOR SOMETHING, ONE OF THESE YEARS I'LL BE ON THE BALL AND SEND THEM OUT.

Just checked your again blog before I went to bed! I don't think I have ever posted a comment first, so glad I checked it out.
Cute Christmas cards Erin...we are already starting to get cards in the mail and it is way fun. The best Christmas card I ever got was the one that told us a baby was on the way in May. What a cute way to announce baby Addison...(do we have any surprises this year?) J/K!

I have loved ALL of your Christmas cards! I look forward to getting the mail only during this time of year as well! I'm not on the ball yet, but according to your rules, I'm O.K. to not send a homemade one this year, right?

Ditto Sista! I put one in my mailbox yesterday addressed to the Rollins family. I feel that even the though the economy is crappy, Christmas cards are a must.

I liked looking at pictures past of your family. I think it is so funny how much we gradually change. You make a sexy 30. They always said thirties are the best years.

I Love your cards and getting them in the mail! It is a great part of Christmas. I have a Bulletin board that I keep all of the pic part of them up all year long so my kids remember some of our friends, I love looking at them all year. I think I am going to have to get a bigger board though.;) Thanks for all your nice comments, you are Great! Your last post cracked me up (by the way).

Love the Rollins Family Christmas Cards (even knowing all the work that goes on behind the scenes)! Very cute, but no one would fault you if you go quick and easy one year :)
